Of course, I am violently allergic to cats...

The only picture we have of the Dean is not overly flattering but in my head he looks a little more like this

Come in, enjoy, help yourself to Twiglets.
Yours sincerely, a Fair Trespasser.

ROFLMBO at your word omission, Small :o (link doesn't work though)

TheSmallPrint · 18/05/2011 10:20

oops

TheSmallPrint · 18/05/2011 10:20

Grin @ John Noakes wistful look!

Interested in this thread?

Right I must go. See you all later when my cheeks are less red .

SupermassiveLBD · 18/05/2011 11:45

Oh golly, I am weak with laughter. First of all I read bupcakes' thread Then I come here and see Small's unfortunate missing word accident, and finally that look on John Noake's face just about made my poor sides split.

Well spotted about the Incredible Moving Tatt though. That opens up a whole new field of academic endeavour -- Or a new fscience iction franchise:

Tatt Trek: The Next Migration
Tatt Trek: The Search for Gnothi (he's the one with the green ink)

TheSmallPrint · 18/05/2011 12:06

Poor bupcakes! Thats just the type of thing that would happen to me. Grin

How can they get that so wrong about the tatt? I'm not even that observant.

SupermassiveLBD · 18/05/2011 12:32

Small, imagine you are the Tatt Girl. Wouldn't you be a bit distracted with all that under your nose?

I thought of starting another thread inspired by bupcakes one. Hypothetical
situations where I would least like that to happen to me.

Mine would be if I were a character in a steamy fanfic. I PMSL at that thought. Blush

TheSmallPrint · 18/05/2011 12:40

No Massive, I would be very sloooooow and careful, taking my time to make sure it was in exactly the right place and smoothed out perfectly, and if I should get it a tiny bit wrong I would have to take it off and do it all over again. Grin

Hee hee about the fanfic farting!

DumSpiroSpero · 18/05/2011 12:46

I can't link to bupcakes thread - presumably because of the title as I'm at work!!!

imagine you are the Tatt Girl

You'd certainly go to work every day with a smile on your face wouldn't you? Grin

PasstheTwiglets · 18/05/2011 12:48

And it probably takes ages to apply the tattoo make-up, so he'd probably be lying flat on his back, looking up at you whilst you work...

SupermassiveLBD · 18/05/2011 13:14

Well, that little throwaway comment of mine sure seems to have fired your imaginations...

PasstheTwiglets · 18/05/2011 13:16

it doesn't take much to inspire us, does it Massive?

OP posts:
PasstheTwiglets · 18/05/2011 14:42

Look, we have a new sign for the office!

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 18/05/2011 14:47

::chortle::

SupermassiveLBD · 18/05/2011 14:57

Who found that, Twiggy? it's perfect!

DumSpiroSpero · 18/05/2011 16:23

new piccy!

Well not new as such but I don't think we've had it before

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 18/05/2011 16:28

Have we seen this one before?

::Runs away::

::Collapses in girlish swoon::

PasstheTwiglets · 18/05/2011 16:50

: Maud

YUM, Spiro! I don't remember Lucas in a coat like that... very nice indeed.

Massive, I have no idea what I was Googling to bring that sign pic up! I think I was looking on Bing, to find something new and it just came up.

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 18/05/2011 16:59

I didn't know the t'internet had mind Reading abilities Twigs, that sign is brilliant!

I don't know why but I get a sneaking suspicion that Maud might like that Bafta photo.

SupermassiveLBD · 18/05/2011 17:06

YUM indeed as Twigs says! I was getting all ready to be cross with Twitterpix cos when I first clicked on the link it told me the pic no longer existed. but second time lucky. Phew!

Check back with poor bupcakes and her update, Windy Lane Revisited as you could call it. Hilarious,
Though why do I find it all so screamiingly funny I wonder? After all I am no longer five years old.
I bet Schopenhauer had a thing or two to say about that.
Or Descartes perhaps: Pedo, ergo sum

DumSpiroSpero · 18/05/2011 17:10

ROFL at Googling Grin!

SupermassiveLBD · 18/05/2011 17:15

Oh, I missed the Googling gag! Thanks for pointing it out, Spiro. Nice one, Twigs Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 18/05/2011 17:20

I merely thought, Small, that several of my fellow Academicians might find that photo useful in their various research enterprises. Was I wrong?

Only on this thread would one discover the Latin for farting

SupermassiveLBD · 18/05/2011 17:25

Maud, I Bafta give you your due, that photo is pretty darn devastating.
