::Looks back at you::

or whatever one does in a jardin this time of year

Perhaps a picnic?

Right. Really going now.

SupermassiveLBD · 01/03/2011 00:06

For Maud,

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 01/03/2011 00:09

Ah, my rather more talented alter ego. She is a Goddess.

::Waves and blows kisses to all::

Wow you lot were busy last night! I was reading through thinking I would go with Muads amazon recommendation but I suspect the price has tripled since last night.

Some lovely shots also, I do think we need a few more Porter studies. I'm off out but will return to the fold later.

SupermassiveLBD · 01/03/2011 11:23

Reporting in to let you know I am still in the land of the living and feeling okay today. This lurgy is a weird on/off thing, goondess knows what it is.

Small, I should be able to do some serious JP research in the not too distant future as I have now ordered Strike Force

Meanwhile, an interesting portrait of our favourite soldier man for us all to look at.

This morning with some free time I revisited a couple of RH episodes from season 3. Scruffy Gizzy, but that only makes me want to take him home and pamper him (which would be much to his disgust, I have no doubt Grin)

TheSmallPrint · 01/03/2011 12:46

sooooo I went on Amazon to look at the Firthmeister but found myself buying Australia for £1.69. Imagine, a whole country for £1.69. Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 01/03/2011 12:48

Imagine, a whole country for £1.69

Do you think they'll do a BOGOF offer?

TheSmallPrint · 01/03/2011 12:49

I'm glad you're feeling better Massive. Thanks for the link. I was trying to find the MA picture but can't.

SupermassiveLBD · 01/03/2011 13:15

Here you go, ladiez

I was sneaky and went back to the last thread.
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 01/03/2011 13:20

Oh thank you, Massive. You saved me a trip.

So. Australia for £1.69. Convince me that - the estimable Mr Jackman aside - it'll be worth it. And is it suitable for youngsters? I know that GardenGirl will be keen because it has La Kidman aka Mrs Coulter from the Golden Compass in it. I was going to buy her Billy Elliott yesterday until somebody reminded me about the copious amounts of swearing of which she already hears plenty from me.

TheSmallPrint · 01/03/2011 13:20

That's loverly, glad someone has a brain! Can you just hang it over the fireplace?

SupermassiveLBD · 01/03/2011 13:20
SupermassiveLBD · 01/03/2011 13:23

Oh there you are, Maud. I hope you don't think I usurped your position as curator of the faculty art collection.

As usual, I am no help to anyone about movies.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 01/03/2011 13:23

Small - Have you noticed that we get even more hysterical committed to our studies when we move into new premises? The important thing is not to lose one's head.

SupermassiveLBD · 01/03/2011 13:26

Mr Jackman certainly looks as if he doesn't give a Castlemaine XXXX for polite language, there, Small.

TheSmallPrint · 01/03/2011 13:26

Grin at Maud!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 01/03/2011 13:27

Not only beards, but hats too! Bear with, ladies, I have some shopping to do.

::Flexes mouse finger::

I don't see myself as curator. As previously discussed (I'm missing Twiggy as I write this) I think of this place as an anarcho-syndicalist commune, in which it is open to any and all of us to bring old and new artefacts to the common room for erudite discussion and appraisal.

TheSmallPrint · 01/03/2011 13:27

that bit looks like its from the film Maud, maybe there are raunchy bits that I have erased from my mind as I am pure and angelic of thought.

SupermassiveLBD · 01/03/2011 13:33

TBH I feel thinking of cravats in order to stay calm would be kind of counter-productive.

Meanwhile here is an entirely gratuitous Guy pic for me to swoon over us to study.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 01/03/2011 13:36

Crikey. I was just thinking that I could lend the film to my dear old mater, who used to have a tendresse for Bryan Brown in the days when the cinemas were full of Aussie films. And the price has now gone up to £3.95.

::sells child kidney::

TheSmallPrint · 01/03/2011 13:36

I like that Massive you can't tell it's guy it looks like Lucas strangely. Wink

TheSmallPrint · 01/03/2011 13:37

did you click on all the ones for sale? I never click on the first link.

TheSmallPrint · 01/03/2011 13:38

although it was another £1.28 for postage.
