I think our patron would like a word, too...

SupermassiveLBD · 04/03/2011 23:20

I don't know about Small, but I am enjoying myself.

DumSpiroSpero · 04/03/2011 23:30

Me too! Is rather hindering the writing though...

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 04/03/2011 23:32

Evening all. I heard this on the radio earlier .

::Appreciates the Luhrmann connection and waits impatiently for The Drover to reach her::

::Laces corset and snaps garter::

SupermassiveLBD · 04/03/2011 23:34

Of course there is always the BWWMD too. But then we'd all be useless for the rest of the night.
I am trying to do some e-mails but keep reworking one paragraph about twenty times.

Small, are you even conscious?

SupermassiveLBD · 04/03/2011 23:37

Bonsoir, Mamzelle Maud! Did you order Australia too?

DumSpiroSpero · 04/03/2011 23:44

Hi Maud!

Have got my JS mojo working now, so will be off comes for a bit. Will say night night in case you guys have tottered off by the time I get back.

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 04/03/2011 23:45

Night Spiro. Enjoy yourself!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 05/03/2011 00:05

Yes, I ordered Australia whenever it was that Small found it offered at a bargainaceous price. The Drover should be here soon unless Small has locked him in the cellar.

::Puts hats with corks on at a jaunty angle. Wonders if this looks odd with the corset and garter::

Well, it is very cold outside. Ahem.

SupermassiveLBD · 05/03/2011 00:14

Gah! it's even better worse than I remembered, Maud!

Good on a cold night though, even beats a nice cup of cocoa.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 05/03/2011 00:25

I dunno. Hot drinks can be very satisfying.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 05/03/2011 00:30

They certainly can

SupermassiveLBD · 05/03/2011 00:33

Oh, yes, that is definitely my cup of tea Maud. But as always I shall defer to you.

Re hat with corks, are there mozzies in Sarf london nowadays? Climate change must be progressing faster than I thought.

SupermassiveLBD · 05/03/2011 00:36

Oh, there is Lucas too. I see he has now stopped sucking his thumb, as he was doing at 23:17:40

I wonder what Gizzy's hot tipple of choice is. Apart from me, of course.

SupermassiveLBD · 05/03/2011 00:43

After which goodnight posset, I must retire. Sweet dreams, ladies, and apologies for posting so many times in a row.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 05/03/2011 00:44

No mozzies here but I want to look tres tres alluring for The Drover when he gets here. I may even offer him a cup of tea when Johnnie's back is turned.

Look what I found when looking for something else entirely.

::All my dreams come true at once emoticon::

I must away to bed. Good night, my dear, and sweet dreams.

TheSmallPrint · 05/03/2011 07:29

Morning all

Well I gave up last night before Spiro got the Big Guns out and while it didn't have the desired effect last night it cetainly has this morning, especially the fine poses by a certain Mr JP.

Maud I hope you won't be disappointed by The Drover or else I shall feel guilty for you spending your hard earned cash. The film is OK but The Drover is swoonsome in a very rough and ready way.

DumSpiroSpero · 05/03/2011 08:07

Morning Small, early start for you too then. I will be off to wield my paintbrushes in an hour or so. Will probably check in at lunchtime.

In case you are still wavering this morning try this...

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 05/03/2011 09:51

DS2 was 'singing' us a song at 6.30 so no chance of a lie in.

Enjoy your painting Spiro and thanks for the pic, it's a welcome distraction when I am in the middle of tidying up.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 05/03/2011 11:18

Morning all.

::Gulps tea::

I am sure The Drover will be good company, Small. I don't suppose he breaks into a song and dance routine at any point?

::Misplaced optimism::

I wonder whether Spiro will meet any interesting people today? Oh, did anyone see Gryff Rhys Jones on the telly last night, looking at West African folk art and fetish objects. 'Twas most interesting.

SupermassiveLBD · 05/03/2011 12:39

Hello, all.

The work here is going well but even supervising it is tiring. The smell of wet carpet is only marginally better than the smell of wet dog.

Wouldn't it be wonderful, indeed, Maud, if dear Claude were giving Spiro's art class. Sadly, I think we're a bit too late for that. Or rather he is a bit too late... Shock

Catch yez later...

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 05/03/2011 12:53

::Books Dixoxn onto an Easyjet flight, fluffy duster and tin of furniture polish at the ready::

I am rocking out to Glee here.

::throws shapes::

TheSmallPrint · 05/03/2011 13:57

I haven't seen glee foe ages, I must try and catch up with that. WHo's on Maud?
