I think you have to be more specific than that, OP. It’s been proven by geneticists that every living European today has a royal ancestor somewhere in their lineage. Most of us just don’t know which branch of the family tree to look on for it.

Being in the hundreds or thousands in line to the throne could surely make you anyone at all, what is different about your life that you think we might find interesting?

This is the most tangential AMA I have seen, I am four generations from a title, live in a fairly big house, have never met the queen socially and haven’t been to a royal wedding would you like to ask me any further questions?

Does your great grandparent’s title get mentioned a lot in conversation by you? It seems from this thread that you feel it defines you in some way, are people generally impressed when you tell them? (I am genuinely curious as I avoid discussing anything like that with my colleagues and friends as I think if anything they would judge me quite negatively if I made anything of my family tree!) I do enjoy an occasional glimpse of ‘what I could have won’ at a family wedding though!
