It’s not hard to see why baby names beginning with M are so appealing. To find the top baby names beginning with the letter M, we referred to the latest baby names list for 2021 (released October 2022) by ONS for names in England and Wales. We also checked the Central Statistics Office and Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency for Irish names and the National Records of Scotland for Scottish names

We cross-referenced our findings with names included in our current baby names content such as articles including top boy names and top girl names. And of course, we found out which M baby names were popular with parents posting in our busy Baby Names forum.
