Take a drink - another drinks company goes ultra-woke.
Was that written by an angsty teenager in a huff?
Do children and teens read The Guardian? Most people whose parents came of age in the 90s mostly won't be that old yet. I would have thought the parents themselves were more The Guardian's age demographic.
Wow. We actually have a case of Oatly here. Once we've finished that'll be the end of any Oatly products in this household.
Oatly and Nicola Sturgeon seem to forget that the majority of the voting and spending population are over the age of 25. All those tedious old parents who insist on sticking to science and evidence and material reality will have their revenge.
Hmm, who do they think pays for the Oatly on the weekly Sainsbury's order, I wonder?
15 year old Jo (pronouns xie/xem) or 49 year old Cathy (pronouns when the fuck are you going to get off your arse and bring your laundry down from your bedroom?)
Not that it matters in our house, never buy the stuff anyway.
I was quite bemused/irritated by this enclosure. And I couldn’t really work out who it was targeted at.
What are their mostly As/Bs/Cs conclusions?
BTW Lidl's own-brand oat milk is very nice and a fraction of the price of that stuff. I used to be a great fan of Oatly. I now have yet another reason to recommend Lidl's version.
Thanks jelly, we get through 5-8 of the chocolate ones a week. Do Lidl do a choc version?
Oh FFS no more Oatly then - we spend a fortune on the bloody stuff usually
Asda do nice own brand oat milk.
Glad I don't like Oat milk.
I don't care if my teen thinks I'm not woke/am woke. I work and pay the bills I'll spend my money elsewhere. Idiots.
What are they doing. Lets alienate our base customers?
My son (30) for various reasons is living at home. He drinks oat milk but not Oatly- he suggests "stick to making milk"
Thank you oatly for showing me an upside to being childless 😆😆🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
God could they be any more patronising??
Does the guardian just hate anyone over 25?
Any hints for non oatly “barista” versions? The Alpro barista oat one is ok but not always in stock.
We weren't drunk in the Second Summer of Love. We were high.
I don't know what Oatley is but it sounds disgusting.

They do. Son and I were at Asda about an hour ago and bought some.
Whoever does their market research should really look into who it is who does the shopping.

Not that I've seen.
One level-ish tablespoon of cocoa powder, one tablespoon of sugar, enough hot water to mix to a runny paste ) about 1/5 of a mug) and top up with oat milk. Tastes exactly the same as chocolate oatly.
Tastes exactly the same
Trying "Minor Figures" oat milk - ordered from Amazon (I know, I know)
We use oat milk daily for smoothies. Oatly can fuck off.
If they think pester power is going to win out they shouldn't be quite so shit to the food bill paying cohort.
There's a double page spread Oatley ad on being the dad of a teenager in the weekend magazine. It's a steaming pile of patronising, ageist crap.

That made me laugh out loud, @CaraDuneRedux - brilliant!
Does the guardian just hate anyone over 25?
Pretty much.

FFS we buy lots of Oatly but I'm not giving my money to such a patronizing bunch of wankers.
Good luck getting my dc to care what brand of oat milk I buy.
