Take a drink - another drinks company goes ultra-woke.

Oh God that's absolutely ridiculous! I'm now never buying Oatley & I'm rapidly going off the Guardian as well. My teens would never read it anyway hopefully it was a massive waste of money.

Totally same here re The Guardian

I am too much of a dinosaur for their brand

This has the same energy as 'we don't want the votes of people who don't agree with our views', currently in vogue with Labour, Lib Dems, Greens etc.

The thing is, its an unattractive and unhelpful look... even if I agree with the stance Oatly are taking (on their side, as it were), I don't like the way they are criticising other customers.

Ditto political parties.

I can tell you for nothing that has everything to do with explaining losing every election (appealing to the underdog in us all) while at the same time rejecting the need to change to policies that might win an election.

Let's try a simple test ... who is the Labour party (for example) run for the benefit of ?

And not all teens/youth think that their parents are hopeless has-beens with the intellect of a T-rex. Some kids actually respect their parents and don't treat them as if they are a nuisance.

Guess what? Oatly are considering floating (stock exchange, not swimming pool). About £10 billion I believe, but this doesn't equate with their actual value.

Liquorishtoffee · 24/02/2021 10:08

So maybe a PR stunt?

bellinisurge · 24/02/2021 11:26

Currently enjoying Minor Figures oatmilk. Nicer and creamier than Oatly..
Hoping no one is about to tell me something shitty about it.
