Writing from Twitter prison!

I've received a twelve-hour ban from Twitter so I thought I'd take the chance to say hello lovely mumsnetters! Thank you for all the support and kind words and very proud to be on your side.

I'm not deleting the tweets because I stand by them and there's nothing offensive about them. See for thyself, fellow witches!

Graham asked me to let you all know that this IS the real Graham and not a digital impersonator! Jonny

Hi lads.

It was only a matter of time, they were bound to go there one day.

Thanks for all your support.

First comment refers to the attention economy grifters who have glommed onto trans rights as a way of reinventing themselves as The Most Oppressed Minority On Earth and raking in the $$$$$. This could only be offensive to those actually engaging in said activity. There's plenty of them and I'll wager they're the loudest voices shouting slurs at women too.

The second comment is absolutely true also. Look at Jonathan Yaniv, Jess Bradley etc. It's not an attack on trans people to point out that chancers, MRAs and predatory men are piggy-backing on their cause.

Anyway, will check back here periodically and say hello. Would appreciate if people could share the screenshot on Twitter and ask @twittersupport what exactly I've said to earn the ban?

Oh and I hope the screenshot works as proof that this is me. :)

We do a lot of talking about cakes here while the MRAs pile on. So someone could probably smuggle you in a file.

Not me, my cakes are shit. But someone.

Thanks for fighting the good fight.

Glinner Welcome to the dark side!

And thank you for being one of the few well-known people willing to stick your head above the parapet and stand your ground on this nonsense.

Is it OK to say that my all-time favourite episode of Father Ted is 'Hell'?

Fuckssake. I worry about how platforms are policed and twitter seems to be silencing gender critical voices disproportionately.

This is about Facebook but is still concerning

Kevin Roose
@kevinroose
Zuckerberg says FB is in the process of setting up a "new independent body" that users will be able to appeal content takedowns to. Sort of like the "Facebook Supreme Court" idea he previewed earlier this year.

Adam Wagner
@AdamWagner1
Read this thread: Facebook is setting up a kind of judicial body which will handle appeals of content take-down decisions.
The lines between states and private corporations continue to blur.

I know, I'm also a bit star struck (as am massive Father Ted and Black Books fan).

Welcome to the ‘nest of vipers’ (aka ‘a hive of mums and villainy’ aka ‘the portal of radicalisation’)

I hope you brought your own Gin

So happy to see you here Mr Glinner and thank you for all the support. So very, very appreciated.

PS, any idea when we might expect the other men ? We’ve been keeping a place for them but they seem a bit delayed ?
