I've received a twelve-hour ban from Twitter so I thought I'd take the chance to say hello lovely mumsnetters! Thank you for all the support and kind words and very proud to be on your side.

I'm not deleting the tweets because I stand by them and there's nothing offensive about them. See for thyself, fellow witches!

@Glinner - you know you have been truly welcomed onto FWR when your thread has some fabulous and thoughtful posts on it and the women view it with such affection that they don't let it die: they just start talking about bananas, fig rolls and ginger.

Datun · 22/11/2018 12:48

I think this is what is difficult to grasp. That it's a victory when the water you drink stays down long enough to have actually been warmed by its exposure to your internals before you vomit it back...

Oh God. That's awful.

Although, I can well believe it. I used to get heartburn, from the heartburn medication.

Igneococcus · 22/11/2018 12:51

Thanks Melamin
16 years in Scotland now and I didn't know that, will buy some later to try, the kids will be delighted.

Bowlofbabelfish · 22/11/2018 12:51

Oh yes. Chilled vomit.

I should have just identified out of it. Envy

EmpressAdultHumanFemale · 22/11/2018 12:51

Actual raucousness might be frowned upon

When did we start frowning on raucousness? Confused

Melamin · 22/11/2018 13:19

The blue ones can be harder to find Sad

Natsku · 22/11/2018 13:22

Opened this thread and read the first page then skipped to the last and now I am intrigued as to how the conversation went from Glinner to chilled vomit.

Igneococcus · 22/11/2018 14:24

Our Lidl has the blue ones, I'm pretty sure.

Melamin · 22/11/2018 14:35

50 times a day Shock So grim, you poor thing.

Mamaogden · 22/11/2018 16:57

Anything by Tunnnocks works for me. However, hot milk, weetabix, bananas and oreos are the food of the dark side 🤮

ThinkOfAWittyNameLater · 22/11/2018 17:32

God I love mumsnet.

I want bananas now.

DS has spoken feelingly of his longing for Boy Kibble (like dog kibble, but presumably not made of cow intestines), to take the uncertainty out of meals.

That’s pretty close to my room 101 option. I love variety. The idea of kibble for humans makes me sad.

MickHucknallspinkpancakes · 23/11/2018 06:42

@Glinner can I also just say, as an aside...that I have NEVER been able to take Hall & Oates seriously since Bigger than both of us...and still now whenever I hear a song I shout out "These people can't afford shades" in a squeaky voice - much to my DS's confusion.

GiantKitten · 23/11/2018 15:25

Just read this via FB.
“Stephanie Hayden” sounds like quite a fantasist - shaky grasp of law, as well as being handy with a golf club.
Wondering whether @Glinner had seen it too?

Apparently the police are guarding “3 of” SH’s houses against attack 🙄

Allycumpooster · 23/11/2018 16:21

Can anyone identify as a lawyer? I always thought the terms lawyer and solicitor were a bit like podiatrist and chiropodist.

GiantKitten · 23/11/2018 16:33

Apparently so!

Solicitor & barrister are specific but anyone can call themselves a lawyer. Who knew?

Allycumpooster · 23/11/2018 16:35

Righty oh. My new identity is Lawyer. I’m currently very fed up with being a woman.

Wow @CroneXX that's very disturbing reading. AGP for sure.
