The thought occurred to me yesterday that doing a 'Snow watch Part 2' could possibly kill off any chance of more cold/snow this winter! We could get a heatwave now!

I think we're in for a few mild, wet days, think I'd rather have it cold and sunny so Kitten and Glorias is there anything brewing for us in the coming weeks? Ta

Netweather's thoughts on the possibility of snow for next week.

Omg Gloria...it's a beautiful day here today...!!! I thought we were hopefully seeing the light at the end of the very long cold tunnel! !!

I know, Whywontthey! I think there always was the view though from the metoffice/posters on weather forums that January and February were going to be cold months and winter was going to linger on.
Netweather's precipitation-type chart for next Wednesday looks like it could be interesting for some!

GFS actually brings snow further south than that chart for a time here on wednesday.

Ah I've found you all! Part one kept going for on me for some reason.

No sign of snow here but the forecast says we currently have gusts of 17mph, it sounds much much more then that. Our wheelie bin has already done a pas de deux down the road with its friend from next door.

Ooo, does look like there could be a little wintry stuff for the south on Wednesday!

I wouldn't get too excited ~ think it'll be more a case of Scotland/high ground in the rest of UK which is more likely to see snow, with a chance of sleety/possibly light snow showers elsewhere type of thing. But it's certainly looking on the chilly side after today.

Just my luck !!!! It's really windy here today, and nowhere near as warm as it has been the last few days (London)
