UKMO gave us 5 hours of light snow overnight this morning.
All gone now 😢

BBC report ~ this week could be one of the coldest of the winter and Netweather's thoughts on this week.

We're right on the edge of the snow warning but even if we do get some it's unlikely to pitch.

I really, really want some snow

I seem to remember some of you are near Brighton-I'm on the coast v close to there.
My children are desperate for a snow day-but I just can't see it happening!
I sulk most winters after being let down by yet again no snow.

But up high, so we get any snow that’s going, even when Brighton itself doesn’t...

We seem to be having an 'appeared from nowhere/not forecast' wintry shower at the moment. We've had a bit of snow settling but think it's melting fairly quickly.

South Oxfordshire is looking like a snow-free zone this week. I'm gutted!

Having had a snow-free forecast the last day or two, the metoffice now have us down for 'light snow' 4-8pm tomorrow.
Word ~ you never know, you might get the odd flake/snow shower.

We have snow here in Kent but it's a bit half hearted :(

Well, having not seen a flake all winter the children are very excited because we had a small flurry this morning in S. Kent with a bit more forecast for the next hour. I understand there were several accidents on the M20 earlier probably because drivers locally have no idea what this white stuff actually is!

Ok, I take it back...it's not half hearted now! I have to do a 60 mile round trip on the M20 to work so it's a work from home day for me :) (when I've finished mumsnetting of course)

NOTHING down here on the SE coast. We are predicted sleet though-yay.
It's my sister's fault really-she bought a sledge yesterday.

Last year I was so cross that everyone else had snow (honestly, I'm like a small child sometimes) that a friend bundled the children and I into the car and drove us until we found some. I think we got as far as the New Forest!

Snow falling here now but it's a bit meh

That snow report is showing mainly n and w Kent. No use to me. We've had a few minutes here and there of proper fat snowflakes but mostly it's sleet. I'd rather it didn't bother.

Had about 45 mins of big flakes - just a dusting & I hope it is now going to bugger off!

We woke up to snow, enough to cause chaos getting to work but now it's all gone ⛄️

NW London here and have not seen a flake. will we not be seeing any do you think Gloria?

pointless ~ you might get a few flakes or the odd snow shower but that's probably about it over the next few days.

I've just got rid of the unused sleigh. Bet it snows in Cornwall now.
