Before you all say don’t be ridiculous, you’ll look like the bride- there is no bride- it’s a gay wedding. I love this. lOVE it. Could get the floral one but of COURSE I want the cream one. Can I???????

I think it's way too over the top I'm afraid. They are getting married not you.

Don’t be ridiculous!

No, really, it’s a lovely dress but it’s not the Oscars. (unless it actually IS the Oscar’s?

Ask them, they may love flamboyant, they may cringe

It's gorgeous, but it really is way too bridal. Sorry.

It’s not my thing but if you love it…
What do the grooms think?

Wow that’s beautiful. The cream one - absolutely not, it doesn’t matter that there is no bride, everyone will be thinking that it looks very bridal and attention seeking

The floral one is gorgeous though, as is the coral and the pale blue

No. You will look like you are competing with the bride. Really bad form.

Too bridal in both colours, sorry! I know you said it's a gay wedding but you don't want to look like as if you want to marry one of them!

I think it’s too bridal (even the second one )

It's amazing but you'll need to be constantly fussing with your train and making a commotion, getting attention. Buy it and create an occasion to wear it, but not at someone else's wedding.

Ha lol fair enough. I just bloody LOVE it. Hmmm, so not even in the floral????

I really like it …if your son and partner are outgoing I am sure they would love it .

It's an amazing dress but in cream (or black) you would look like you had Issues. Blue? Pink? Red?

Beautiful gowns. But NO! You’ll look like you are trying to upstage the 2 guys / women getting married. All eyes will be on you; poor form.

@FeckTheMagicDragon there isn’t a bride!

I wouldn't wear that. Just because it's a gay wedding doesn't mean you can get away with dressing like a bride. It's their wedding, not yours!

Ultimately you know your son and his future husband, we don't. If you think they'd be fine with it then that's all that really matters, since it is their wedding, but my initial reaction to that dress is to think wanna be bride.

I agree that even for a gay wedding it's too bridal. The focus should be on the two grooms not the mums.

It is absolutely gorgeous though.

Hmm. Normally I would say no but seen as no bride. As long as you don't want people to assume you have dressed like a bride. Maybe the floral one?

@Retisestress my son is very outgoing and flamboyant. He’d prob love it tbh. His partner wouldn’t notice if the whole bridal party turned up dressed in bin bags 🤣
