MTT and FTT may face particular difficulties, e.g. with regard to accessing appropriate and sensitively delivered healthcare, and I fully support their rights to obtain the services that they require on an equal footing with any other person.

I believe that gender is a bullshit sociological convention which differs in time, space and place, but mainly constructed so that WOMEN, KNOW YOUR PLACE.

I believe that people should refer to sex rather than gender if that's what they mean (sex: Male/Female/Intersex, gender: masculine/feminine/it's all a load of shite, wear what clothes you want as long as you're appropriately covered for the activity you are undertaking)

I truly believe that lesbians are not attracted to penises, even if the person attached to the penis thinks that they should be, and no one should be forced to have sex with a person/penis/not-a-penis that they don't want to. EVER.

I am seething and probably high as a kite from the effects of too much school holidays . I'm quite up for an outlet.

I would be very sad to be banned but I think it's important to say what I believe:

I have huge compassion for those people struggling with discordant feelings over their biological sex
I don't think hormones and surgery are automatically the answer for all those people but their feelings should be acknowledged
Sex cannot be changed
There appears to be a loud minority of people assuming anyone who is gender non-conforming must be 'in the wrong body'
I don't think it is possible to be in the 'wrong body' but I understand that accepting your body as it is can be very very tough
Notions of gender could be completely destroyed if everyone would stop buying into them!

Biological sex exists and it matters.

Gender is an oppressive social construct.

A person is not "assigned" a sex at birth. Their sex is noted on the basis of their genitals. The existence of intersex people does not change biological truth.

Only women can give birth and breastfeed.

I am silly and I agree. A man cannot become a woman. A woman cannot become a man. Gender is made up bullshit.

I am a woman and a feminist and the mother of a lesbian. I believe that gender is a social construct which is harmful to women. I know that sex is a biological truth. It cannot be changed.
