Hello again lovely people, I'm very glad to be back. I feel so.much.better on this WOEating that I can't imagine why I even fall off the waggon. Haven't seriously been around for a while, it's good to be back and I'm glad to recognise some familiar usernames
Hattip @BIWI and her big stick, @stuntnun et al. Thank you for setting it all up & for your ongoing support, all really very much appreciated.
Been bootcamping for a week now and already notice my appetite waning a bit.
Using bootcamp to treat sugar the way alcoholics treat their poison really works for me. Trying to limit my sugar intake to 'in moderation' just takes up too much headspace and never works. It's easier for me to just abstain and stick to LCHF
Tried shoogled sprouts for the first time and delighted by just how delicious they are. Just love being five mins max away from deliciousness at any time. The only trouble I have ever had with bootcamp has been not taking the FTGV seriously enough , overdosing on meat and needing desperate remedies for constipation.
Shoogled sprouts and lamb chop, shoogled sprouts & cauliflower and Nigella's 40 cloves of garlic chicken and i am safe from vampires, too.
What is not to like.
Oh, sorry, this is beginning to sound like my Oscar's speech. Weighing myself seems to trigger a madness which I can do without. I shall use fitting into my white Levi's shorts from back in 1990 (before Lycra was introduced to let me think things still fitted) as my benchmark.
Today, lovely boot campers, the waistband can go no further than the top of my tights. If I ever fit into them again ( with the button fly done up ) I shall post a pic here in thanks and celebration.
Shorter term, my motivation from meal to meal is to feel so much better: reduced indigestion, reduced lethargy, reduced congestion in my sinuses and generally more get up and go.
Looking forward to hearing from everyone, in solidarity.
