Hi all, My BMI is now 26 so not long to go until in healthy range. My other stats are also all improving which is great to observe. Already planning my food for Halloween night as have promised the kids takeaway, goodies and a scary movie. I've found a place that delivers a tapas selection so lots of cheese, meats and olives but looks really tasty and won't do as much damage as a pizza or chips. Am nearly 7 weeks in and down over 1.5 stone. Once I get to healthy range am going to introduce 1:6 and then 2:5 and see how that goes. Hopefully by Christmas I will be down to 3:4 and can relax on these 3 days over the holidays.

Thanks for the new thread @MysweetAudrina Smile

Well done that's an awesome loss! I gained a little bit last week due to 5 cheat days whilst on holiday but today am back to pre-holiday weight, so I'm pleased with that.

Not too much left to lose for me either so I'm also planning to do 2:5 during November to see how that goes. Like you, I've lost 1.5 stones doing Fast800 so I just want to find a good way of maintaining the loss and not creeping back up to where I was before. But at the same time I want to be able to eat nice food and get that "full" feeling again without feeling guilty.

Thanks for starting the new thread @MysweetAudrina

I have plateaued this week but have lost 2 stones so far (in 9 weeks) so going to keep on 800 cals for three more weeks then move to 2/5 fasting to give me a couple of days more flexibility in a week. I've still got 3 stones to lose so can't relax too much but I'm actually not finding this way of eating too difficult- helped by not being able to eat out or go on holiday. 🙄

I hope I can join in.

I've been researching different ways of eating to lose weight as well as watching the 'How to lose a stone...' programme.
I ordered the fast 800 book and am on day three so far after a false start last week.q
I was doing well until last night where a bowl of cereal got the better of me, as well as some more junk food.
I'm back on it today though, aiming for 761 calories.
I made a mixed berry smoothie and also had poached eggs with mushroom and spinach from the recipe book.

I am started off as 63.5kg and have 1 kg in 3 days so 62.5kg. I am 5ft so definitely overweight Sad.
My goal weight is 50kg, we shall see how it goes.

Happy to have you on board @Dontbugmemalone - there are lots of experts on these threads (not me, though!) and you'll get plenty of support and/or sympathy depending how things are going!

Thank your for nice words, it's nice to know others are doing this and have ups and downs too.
I used a keto stick this morning and it said negative but I just checked again and the colour showed moderate ketosis which is strange but a positive sign. Good luck to everyone!

Thanks for the new thread!

I've completed 4 full weeks now and have lost 14.6lb which is amazing. I have 0.6lb to lose to get to my 2nd target weight (first target weight was only 3lb heavier than 2nd target but it was the weight at which I'd finally have a healthy BMI).

I'm hoping I can reach this 2nd Target weight for Saturday, and on Saturday I'm allowing myself the evening "off" so I can participate in Halloween with a take out and some sweets. But I'll only have one meal that day and have it in the evening with no snacking, just straight take out then some sweets. Straight back on it on Sunday and target 3 will be to lose a further 3lb and so on and so forth!

Managed to stay on track despite weekend when I usually get derailed! Yest we got take away but I stuck to no carbs prob went a bit over in cals though (maybe 1200)
Today I had
Egg and cheddar omelette
Lunch was a yoghurt and avacado based smoothie
Dinner was a low carb tuna wraps (ps these wraps r delish and 4g of carb - called carbzone).
950 and 45 carbs. This seems to be what I find comfortable and manageable. Will keep trying to lower it.

I Went way above yesterday not so much in carbs but definitely calories. I had a bottle of Prosecco, Thai takeaway with no rice or noodles and dark hotel chocolat. Not going to weigh for a few days but hopefully I won't get too many carb cravings today after the Prosecco.

Today’s plans (tummy feeling flatter so hoping good loss on tuesday)
Eggs and mushrooms
I just had a tiny Halloween muffin and a milky coffee as a treat. we made them with wholewheat flour and hardly any sugar and rolled oats I’ve calories them up as 50 cals they were so small. Naughty me though

Lunch - mushroom soup

Dinner - tandoori marinated chicken and a huge salad
1000 and 40 carbs. Weigh in Tuesday. Potentially getting some happy or stressful news tmrw I’m not going to be able to promise to not celebrate with processo or drown with gin!

Your day sounds great @MysweetAudrina - v envious!

I've lost a most unimpressive 0.2 lbs this week! Hardly seems worth the deprivation. I realise that I'm not being as scrupulously good as I was at the beginning, with a few extra carbs/calories slipping in but I have never gone over 1000 cals even on my worst day so I am a bit disappointed that my rate of loss has slowed down so much. Still, only 2 more weeks of 800 cals to go so I'm going to refocus and see if I can get a final whoosh before I move on to 2:5 initially.

Hope everyone has a good week - and that your news is good @Cream123 !

Hope everyone is doing well this week. Good day so far today food wise. Going to weigh on Wed and hopefully will have undone any damage i did on Saturday. Was ok yesterday but a bit higher on cals. Have an online restorative yoga class at 8 tonight so at least won't be able to eat during that. Put on a pair of work trousers today that I haven't worn since lockdown and pleased to say they are very loose but don't look well as they are fitted and are now saggy at the arse. Great excuse to buy new clothes.

Morning all. I got good news yest. I shared processo and icecream with DH. I know it’s not on plan! But I can’t live a life like that. Anyways I enjoyed it. Scales not as kind as I would have wanted but it’s my own fault as today is weigh in day.

Sw- 11.10
Week one 11.4.5
Week two (today)-11.3

Really going to focus this next week stick to plan and try shift a good amount .

Well done on the big trousers @mummymacphee. I think it’s normal for loss to slow down and speed up. Keep going and hopefully will drop this week :)

Joining for accountability if I may!
Attempt #3, possibly #4 at a BSD approach. It does help me lose weight unlike any other approach, but I haven’t yet got past the spectacular fall from grace around week 3.

5 ft 9.5, 12 stone 9 today. 45. Losing 7lb would have me back at a healthy BMI but 11 stone is much nearer my ‘happy’, fit and pre-peri menopausal weight.

Aim to emerge from lockdown lighter than I went in, unlike March ...

Hi de hi! Starting my second 3 week stint here. I enjoyed it the first time and found it made my mood and general well being much better. But then life got in the way. Anyway, quite happy to be doing another round. Weight yesterday was 11-9, I’d like to get into the 10s.

Can I join? I’ve got about 25kg to lose (ie loads!). Started last Monday, doing one meal a day with 800kcals as I find it easier than having small meals. Low carb obviously. Lost 2.5kg initially which was fantastic but weight has now been static for 4 days which is disheartening. Sigh. Feeling quite bloated and constipated so perhaps this is the problem.

Starting again for the second time as I went completely off the rails for the past week.
I am fed up of being overweight and really need to tackle it now before it gets even worse. I have gained 8kg during lockdown and wanted to lose 5 kg before the extra weight gain.
I've done a 20 hour fast and I am just about to eat garlic and herb mushrooms from the fast800 book with tomato and pepper at the side.

Made white bean mash tonight ( BSD book, I tend to prefer the recipes in it) it was my first attempt and it was really tasty! 2 veggie sausages and greens. I have another sausage left over to make a sort of ploughman’s lunch tomorrow
