The lady we know and love, who has brought us 30 Days Of Yoga, is starting a new series of sessions on YouTube from 1 January called .

This just might be the incentive I've been waiting for to establish a daily practice. Does anyone want to join me? Smile

I'm just did day 2 and struggled a bit Blush Bits of me weigh a lot more than they should and that made it hurt more and my stomach got in the way

I will not be giving up yet though...

Eastpoint · 02/01/2016 21:54

I haven't had my day 2 email yet, I didn't think of looking on YouTube for it & have just come back from the last party of the season for me. Drat.

MagicalHamSandwich · 02/01/2016 22:05

Can I join in? Had already signed up because I'm subscribed to her YouTube channel but some support won't hurt, I'm sure. Plus I love that you all seem to love her, too. Adriene got me into yoga, it's been a complete life-changer ...

I've been really trying to practise at least 30 minutes every day since last summer and have generally been doing very well. Work has been crazy over the last three weeks or so, though, and in between 14 hour days my practice has kind of suffered. Noticed immediately that I was having insomnia issues again. I'm really hoping this will get me back on track!

I've just done day 1, no email for day 2 yet. I feel better already, much clearer and calmer.

hairylittlegoblin · 03/01/2016 07:57

I can't find the video on YouTube. Is it just me? Can only see Day one.

Hi rascals.

I tried that but only getting day 1 and the yoga camp orientation video anywhere I search. Will check back later. Thanks for trying Smile

CoteDAzur · 03/01/2016 08:15

hairy - I linked to Adriene's YouTube channel in my 11:26 post yesterday. You can find the 2nd video of Yoga Camp there at the top (Day 1: Acceptance).

Ah, that's where I'm going wrong. I thought day 1 was from Friday and was expecting day 2 to be up yesterday. Thanks for explaining.

RhinestoneCowgirl · 03/01/2016 09:09

Just done day 1, yay! Haven't done much yoga at all over the last month and I'm feeling stiff, so lovely to be back on the mat.

All though one of the things that I have to 'accept' is that I'm not practising in a lovely calm yoga studio, but up one end of the living room while the DC have breakfast at the other! When they're back at school I will aim to be up before they are but today I wanted one last lie-in...

They are now doing a Cosmic Yoga kids video.Yogis in training Grin

princessconsuelabannahammock · 03/01/2016 09:21

I have also just done day 1 and feeling very smug and my back isnt hurting anymore yay! I have terrible flexibility and couldnt get my heels on the floor in downwards dog but you have to accept where you are today right?

Hoping i can keep this up as i feel fab.

cece · 03/01/2016 10:19

Day 1 done. But feeling cold now as waiting for boiler to be fixed tomorrow. Note to self - wear more than leggings and a vest top in a cold house. Brr.

Is Day 2 up yet? I can't find it on youtube.

itonlygetsbetter · 03/01/2016 10:21

Day 1 completed - feels great that I have taken the time to do something good for myself. The real test will be keeping it up once I am back at work. Well done everyone. See you on the mat tomorrow!

Readysteadyknit · 03/01/2016 11:14

I have not received Day 2 (day 1 came eventually) - if I go to YouTube there are loads of videos but not Day 2. Is anyone else having problems? If someone could post the link,I'd be grateful.

MrsBertMacklin · 03/01/2016 11:17

Here's the link for the most recent video Day 2 should be up at around 1400 GMT today.

Readysteadyknit · 03/01/2016 11:18

Thanks!

MrsBertMacklin · 03/01/2016 11:21

I'm guessing people aren't getting an email notification because an automatic mailer software is being used and it's either slow, or screwed?
I think if you subscribe to her channel, you can adjust YT settings so you get a notification when a new video is uploaded.

Readysteadyknit · 03/01/2016 11:22

I'm obviously out of sync - I have had the e mail for this one - I think I'll do her gentle yoga for today and do Day 2 tomorrow Confused

CoteDAzur · 03/01/2016 11:42

I just did Day 1 with DS (6). He is into yoga (odd, I know) and does it once a week with his friends. This was the first time we did it together and it was very sweet, although there was a lot of "Mummy. Mummy. Look mummy. Mummy." etc Smile

I thought it was going too slowly until we got to downward dog and I realised my hamstrings have turned to steel in the three weeks that I have not done any yoga Blush Seriously, just couldn't believe how hard it was. Three weeks ago, my heels were easily brushing the mat and this time I was in agony with my heels about an inch off the floor! I wasn't expecting to be so harshly punished for the 3-week break.

Anyway, I am glad that I did this gentle re-introduction into yoga. Looking forward to Day 2, which I will do tomorrow morning.

Day 2, , is up Smile

stardusty5 · 03/01/2016 12:07

I'm doing this too. I love adriene!

MagicalHamSandwich · 03/01/2016 12:07

Oh, not just you! Tight hamstrings are the bane of my life (and my poor, poor lower back). When I practise regularly, I can now easily touch my palms to the floor, belly on thighs, in a standing forward bend. Stop practising for a while and I'm back to where I can barely touch my toes and even that hurts like hell ...

... I call this the white collar's revenge. It's apparently something very common in people who sit a lot.

cece · 03/01/2016 12:11

Day 2 is up! 52 mins! Good job I'm not at work tomorrow!
