I am afraid we bring very sad news. There are no words really to describe her shattering loss, the wonderful Mumsnetter GoJetterGirl’s beautiful seven year old son has died following two years suffering with cancer. Life has been so utterly cruel to him, to his family and friends, to all who love and will miss him. We are so so sorry. GoJetterGirl’s thread is here and we know many of you supported her on there through until his devastating death on February 25th. We are so very sorry and send so much love Thanks

We are so pleased that the lovely GoJetterGirl accepted our offer of a Woolly Hug, there will be love in every stitch and we hope lots of warmth, comfort and memories for his little brother too. We hope that many of you who have already supported on her thread will be able to help make this blanket. Many thanks to @NoWordForFluffy for all her help.

We shall need donors of yarn, funds and crafters. Can you help us? We know that many are away or on summer breaks, so provisionally we are setting a last posting date of Monday 21st September

@Fairyfellowsmasterstroke I've been oohing and aahing at all of the marvelous talent in the work here, but I have to say seeing your picture really brought home the WHY of all of this outpouring of love. I am typing this through tears.

So much love to the GoJetter family.

Does this look like Penguin? I need to add some French knots for the pupils and the nostrils.

Yes it does and very much in the style of the drawing too. You're so talented, I can't even cast on properly Grin

I'm going to do a panda square before I post off but my off-white is in my storage box and I need DH to lift it out for me which he keeps forgetting to do.

What lovely squares!

Okki, what stitch have you used to do the pink square for your Minecraft pig? I want to do a creeper, thinking I'd be better doing the green and black bits separately then sewing together, rather than attempting to make a chart.

How many stitches did you do for the foundation row? I was wondering whether I should do treble or double crochet for the main square.
