No Fiesta?

TheWoollybacksWife · 15/01/2019 19:18

Soupy 😎

MadisonAvenue · 15/01/2019 22:39

Soupy are you relieved or saddened by that? Grin

WitchDancer · 16/01/2019 08:06

I'm sure the cat will be! 😂

KnottyAndPistey · 16/01/2019 09:35

Time to add it in Soupy?

Just a thought.

There's always a cheeky frisson of excitement when someone mistakes bright pink for fiesta. Just sayin

I am deeply saddened by the fact that there is no Fiesta. I have lots spare (unsurprisingly). Sadly the shock of it was too much for Poor
Blind Cat and he actually died of a heart attack in July.

I do have two new cats now and, as they are black, they should show of the Fiesta quite well.

KnottyAndPistey · 16/01/2019 21:07

Ooooo new cats to startle!! 😃

Ahhh you got it!

I'm surprised that any blankets using Fiesta get through airport security. It's practically a chemical weapon.

bookbook · 17/01/2019 06:52

wow, those first two got us off with a bang!
Beautiful work there Madison
Soup - hopefully your 2 new cats are as photogenic and have your old cats love of fiesta ...
Plodding on with squares here , in between lots of other stuff over Christmas . On with #7 atm . Am on babysitting duties today - poorly DGS , so hoping to be able to sit and get through some crochet, depending on him. If he is still not good, he will be happy to snuggle and I can get some done . If he's feeling a bit better, I may have to try and play top trumps at the same time Grin .
Happy hooking !

MadisonAvenue · 17/01/2019 11:59

I hope your little grandson is soon feeling much better! How long until your holiday?

MrsJonesAndMe · 18/01/2019 11:20

Morning just Going to get on with joining my Snug so I can do some squares for this too.

So many lovely colours.... Smile

bookbook · 18/01/2019 17:28

hello!
Madison - next Sunday!

DGS was much better yesterday, was arguing with DD that he would prefer to stay at home today Grin - but I did get some crochet done while he watched a cartoon at lunchtime ( bad Grandma .....)

MrsJonesAndMe · 18/01/2019 18:00

Glad he's better book

Just did a quick sort out while DS was in the bath and have 6 or 7 colours that match Chernobyl so ready to go!

MadisonAvenue · 19/01/2019 10:10

Glad he’s better book. Sounds very much like my youngest at that age Grin We now laugh about when he was 7 and I had The Call one Friday asking me to collect him as he’d said he felt ill. I arrived at school at the same time as his best friend’s mom and we found them both sitting in the reception waiting for us. They were both as right as rain but had obviously hatched a plan to both get out of school early and have a long weekend!

Hi! First post in Woolly Hugs although I've been around for a while. Planning to knit some squares. Smile Usually I make projects where size doesn't matter so exactly, will need to make a tension swatch and work out how many stitches to cast on for a 12 inch square...

bookbook · 19/01/2019 20:38

welcome viccat :)
I knit pretty much to tension, and I do 31 stitches for a 6" square , and 62 stitches for a 12" square - some textures make it pull in a bit , so you may need to adjust as you go along. Its always better for the constructors if you do it a tweak smaller - we can always manage to wrangle them in :)
