Thread 2! Woolly Hugs. Chernobyl 2018 is HERE!!!

You find us busily setting up a new home for our wonderful project. Will be making a special cosy corner for Soupy's poor blind cat - recently blinded by fiesta and her very bright blanket kit

As has been since the first year, this has been an astonishing team effort, folk never fail to amaze. THANK YOU! x

Our first project thread is here.... That was the one where we frantically made SQUARES and some folk made whole blankets, there was a lot of gin and the word characterful was used a lot

On the last thread we reached the dizzying heights of 64/100 absolutely gorgeous finished blankets, so here's hoping this thread sees us through to target...

Ooooo, and this will be the thread where we share the Early Bird 2019 info if anyone has been inspired or just wants to get ahead!

I am plodding on with squares for a Snugs blanket, but allotment is full on atm so the crochet is going a bit slowly ....... :)

I can take no real credit for the blanket - I just did the blind donkey work.

Well I think Soup's is the best so far. And not just because it has two of my squares in it. Although in my defence, they're the most subtle squares in the blanket. But that's bit saying much...

My favourites are the more subtle vintagey looking ones 😂

I should have said that I don’t expect the more (ahem) vibrant of the two squares I sent in to be used anywhere. 😂😂

Saw the other one first, thought that was Revenge Square and that you'd gone SOFT.

Did everyone see this from last year? One of the lads who visited Bristol, pretty sure that blanket was made on Malta by a crafter who is over there. Andy blamed mosquitos for the blurriness!
