We are afraid we bring very sad news. Daffyduck1’s beloved husband died recently, he had been suffering from cancer. Such devastating news, we are so sorry that life has been so cruel. Our love and thoughts are with her, their beautiful children and family. Love and strength to them all X

We have offered to make Daffy a blanket to show our love and support and to offer what comfort we can, and we are delighted to say she has accepted.

So we are asking for help once again Sad Thanks

We will need crocheters, knitters and donors (of funds or wool) please post on this thread and PM with your offers too.

Maybe woolly hugs need to give wool warehouse a warning before they ask us for squares!
I would like to think they have sold out of yellow as everybody is making squares for daffy and wino.

Wearegoingtobedlehem · 25/05/2016 11:41

Do you still need donors of funds or wool? ( can't knit or crochet for toffee!)

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 25/05/2016 12:17

Polter

How much do you need? If you PM me your address I can post some tomorrow morning.
I don't think I'll have time today.

That yellow is out of stock everywhere!

Have asked for an email when back in, fingers crossed that won't be too long.

Two lovely blues arrived today for Daffy and Wino's blankets, many thanks to the donor!

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 25/05/2016 14:38

Polter

I can do that!

Pistey

Alternatively may I suggest Debbie Bliss Rialto Banana to be allowed as well? Only a slight difference but still a lovely soft shade.
Wool Warehouse seems to have a sale of the Drops Merino. Maybe that's why it's sold out there?

Thanks.
It's a very easy pattern, took me less than an hour to make the rose.
Another happy free pattern from Pintreset, glad to share it!

MrsHathaway · 25/05/2016 17:09

Donor yarn safely received here today, thank you.

KnittingPearl · 25/05/2016 17:48

Donor wool received yesterday, started on my squares. Many thanks.

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 26/05/2016 09:07

Polter

Wool is on its way. I wound it into a large ring so it fits through as large letter.

I feel really cheeky asking for more...

But could I have some red please?

I am struggling to make a strawberry, a door with a red 4 or the jigsaw with only green and yellow...

Sorry for seeming greedy Sad

WhyCantIuseTheNameIWant · 26/05/2016 22:55

Zing. ..

That is brilliant!
Makes my letters for wino seem very simple Sad

Is the attached the right red? It's in my woolly hugs bag of yarn, but I don't know who by/what shade other than bright red.

I would like to do some embellishments with it, and if it isn't the right one may I have a little please?

WhyCantIuseTheNameIWant · 27/05/2016 20:47

Monday is fine.
Knitting is cancelled for tonight. I am laying flat on my bed with a hurt back.
Thank you

WhyCantIuseTheNameIWant · 27/05/2016 20:49

If anybody has a small amount of blue, I will use it with the promised red, yellow and green I already have to do the jigsaw logo.

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 28/05/2016 00:52

Why

Ouch! Your poor back. I hope you'll feel better soon Flowers
