Trin, we'd LOVE you to make a blanket! Your crochet is gorgeous and all you'd need to make a Little Hug for a baby in Yorkhill is to make 9 of those fabulous squares, and then I'd happily hook them together for you and edge, or we can talk you through that part. And let me send you some woolly wool. In purples, maybe? :)

I find knitting very slllllowwwwwwwwwwwwww and when I go wrong I have to restart the whole thing. But I love crochet, tis quite addictive!

I did three squares and then a wee flower with the left over but not sure if thats ok for the blanket

:) That Knotty is a very busy bee Trin, but yy she's around, we have so many threads going for different projects, that it is easy to miss folk, we launched a new project on Tuesday and she was helping folk there last night.

The Little Hugs go to very poorly babies and sick children in Yorkhill, and a blanket that has 9 squares will go to a little baby. The feedback we have had has been amazing. Parents feel so comforted, as do the children, really is sending them a hug.

Tis an ongoing project -see the thread here and whenever you make, we will be so grateful to receive.

If making 9 squares feels like too many, why not make 4 and I can get together the other 5?
