Great name!

Mine's a skein of bamboo/silk tops, cheers!

tweetytwat · 26/11/2013 12:20

Do you think if someone snogs Tech in the right way, we could get this as a topic that allows pics?

I just pm'd for the current Hug.

YeGodsDidTheDrWhoThemeTune · 26/11/2013 12:20

Oh go on then, I'll have an americano. Just one shop and lots of room for milk (2 extra jugs of cold, please).

YeGodsDidTheDrWhoThemeTune · 26/11/2013 12:21

Tech might allow pics if we promise not to snog him (or at least promise not to show anyone those pics.)

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 26/11/2013 12:23

Ooh - are we going to be knitting/crocheting under the affluence of incahol? Goody! Grin

KnottyLocks · 26/11/2013 12:28

We may need to do a Risk Assessment Grin

I have assessed it. There will be Risk. End of Risk Assessment. Grin

KnottyLocks · 26/11/2013 12:32

RatherBeOnThePiste · 26/11/2013 12:39

I sure we could manage a few leetle pastries.

Ooh no, never knit and drink, esp if you're doing a complex pattern. i've lost count of the number of carefully crafted items I've had to unravel as I've gone wrong somewhere after a glass or two of wine.

Strangely, I find the same thing happens when I combine complex knitting with Only Connect Grin

Plain knitting only when drinking or thinking is my motto Grin

KnottyLocks · 26/11/2013 12:51

Oh yes, the Granny is my fallback tipsy pattern Smile

Are we too early for mince pies/mini stollen bites? I happen to have a box or two if the stollen things stashed away, i highly recommend them.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 26/11/2013 12:51

I'm not snogging Tech for anything it must be said Grin Wine

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 26/11/2013 12:57

I'll snog Tech.

GoingGoingToGallifrey · 26/11/2013 12:59

Oh yes, that will do lovely. I think this weather calls for a mulled cider, but I may end up with a wavy pattern in my next set of squares.

rubycon · 26/11/2013 13:00

I'll have a big one

Opheliabumps · 26/11/2013 13:16

Mulled cider? Mmm that sounds nice, what spices do you use? Saw a recipe for hot sloe gin the other day, I'll be giving that a try over Xmas

hot sloe gin you say, hmm may have to investigate!

fanjodisfunction · 26/11/2013 13:36

hot chocolate with a dash of rum please! (can only drink on here as breast feeding).

(I imagine the bar to be covered in woolly items, all mugs and glasses have a little woolly cozy on them, woolly cushion covers on all the chairs)
