We have heard the dreadfully sad news that Chipmonkey's baby daughter died unexpectedly this week. Condolence thread is here Chipmonkey has said tonight that she would love to receive a MN blanket.

Because Knotty is snowed under a mountain of wool, I am taking on the coordination for this, so if you are a donor or a crafter needing a match - please PM me and I will match you up. I know there is an amazing army of donor, knitter and crochet stars, and I am hoping that you will feel able to help with this blanket too.

So if you feel that you can help, please PM me with your offers: crafting, donating, need wool, don't need wool, and I will sort it all out, and when you are ready to post, PM me for the address.

I will have to get back on the deadline...

But thank you in advance.

Have been ultrasuperbusy at work today Pistey, twas horrid. I was in full blown PMT mode as well and had a bag on with everybody. So have not been to the PO yet. I felt that the man in the PO did not deserve one of my ranty rants.

Will package the grannies up tonight with their wee tartan trollies, there's eight of them, and send them first thing.

Had a look at the blankets, they are truly gorgeoise, well done to all of you hookers and donors and sewer upperers and deliverers.

TerrysNo2 · 27/10/2011 20:26

Oh goodie, glad my square arrived!

TimeForCake · 27/10/2011 22:19

My "square" is 6"x5". I am nearly there but it will be a smidge late getting to you. Blush I'm very slow but trying hard! Hope to finish it tomorrow, fingers crossed.

Enjoy your important job tomorrow! Grin

NellVarnish · 27/10/2011 22:53

Pistey here's one of the grannies I'm posting tomorrow.

Wedding plans? Wedding plans? What wedding plans?

TimeForCake · 27/10/2011 23:03

Can't link Nell as on phone, but look in 'chat' about half way down. Someone was asking for a witness at their wedding tomorrow ....

TimeForCake · 27/10/2011 23:05

Arf at picture by the way! Grin

NellVarnish · 27/10/2011 23:05

Oh how intriguing TimeForCake, thanks for that - you've put me in the mood for some cake now mind ...

SoupDragon · 27/10/2011 23:10

Bloody children have got in the way of my squares. I'd forgotten it was sodding half term this week or I would have put more effort in last week. Bah!

TimeForCake · 27/10/2011 23:10

Sorry! It's never far from my thoughts either, especially while learning to crochet. Grin

RatherBeOnThePiste · 27/10/2011 23:15

Have changed my name back, probably only temporarily, didn't think it right she have a hooker at the wedding!

And TimeForCake, I will be making some Lemon Drizzle Cake tomorrow and then sitting down with my crochet like the granny in the pic and scoffulating the lot. Yum!

Georgimama · 28/10/2011 06:31

I know what you mean soupy. I am posting three squares today without fail. I am going to make another two over the weekend and post on Monday. If that is too late I am really sorry and please can they be held over for any future blanket.

GhoulsGhouls · 28/10/2011 08:27

Am posting two squares today, if I can drag the children out, away from the Wii and the DS... sigh

SoupDragon · 28/10/2011 12:34

As the children are going to their father's for the weekend, I am going to assume the Assemblers are slacking snowed under at the moment and hopefully post tomorrow.

Slimenoseros · 28/10/2011 12:38

Soupy Shock

Us? Slacking?

RatherBeOnThePiste · 28/10/2011 13:28

Gorgeoise woolly wool squares have just arrived. My daughter answer the door, she is currently wearing a 'onesie' (all in one pyjama thing favoured by teens) designed to look like a rabbit, complete with tail and hood with ears which naturally she had on.... She is nearly 5ft10

God only knows what the postie thinks of us now Confused ConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfusedConfused

Thanks to Trumpton Beautiful and thank you for the offer - I will let you know, but I think there will be plenty. I seem to have a lot already, but obviously a blanket takes a lot too!

Thanks to Marymaryalittlecontrary More beautiful squares...

Thanks to bushymcbush - totally lovely

LadyWellian · 28/10/2011 14:43

Pistey I beg you not to tell me where your DD's onesie came from. My DD is after one from H&M regardless of my telling her I thought it looked like a prison jumpsuit. Grin

Off to the Post Office now...

NellVarnish · 28/10/2011 14:46

Pistey - there's eight old grannies in the post for you - 1st class recorded delivery so put your best pole dancing shoes on to greet the postie!

Hope the wedding went well. :)

ShakeThyGoryKnottyLocks · 28/10/2011 15:02

Rather fancy a bunny suit myself. If only to see DH's face. Grin
