Following on from the blanket for Magic8 which is under construction, we'd like to offer one to Whatevertheweather who has recently lost her baby daughter.

I know there is already an army of knitters and crocheters and donors out there; would anyone be able to join us?

About to head off to the post office with my squares. Pictures on my profile. I don't know who my donors were but if you sent wool from Lydia's shop (one peach/silver parcel and one peach/purple parcel) then thank you very much.

KnottyLocks · 19/09/2011 11:12

Er, I have to apologise to those of you whose inboxes are now filled with the same PM from me. Either my wireless or laptop or Munsnet kept freezing so I sent a few PMs twice (or more) as I wasn't sure if they'd gone or not.

Rudawakening · 19/09/2011 11:40

Posted squares today for guaranteed next day delivery. Should be with you tomorrow, I will post pictures on my profile later in the week as I only have mu iPad ATM.

I read the thread yesterday regarding cupoftea's baby girl and sincerely hope it won't come to needing a blanket but if it does I have oodles of time thanks to having no position in my current work place so can gladly put together, coordinate or just knit some more if needed.

KnottyLocks · 19/09/2011 11:49

Thank you, Rudawakening., for your squares and your offer.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 19/09/2011 15:34

Oi!
I haven't had a PM and I haven't sent my square yet.... You trying to tell me something Knotty McKnot??!! Grin

which reminds me I haven't actually posted it yet Blush

KnottyLocks · 19/09/2011 16:49

Oi, back at you! I speak to you every bloody day Grin

You've already sent one so I know you know where to send the next one which I know you are sending because you have told me so, except for the fact that you led me to believe that you had already posted it.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 19/09/2011 17:28

still would have been nice though, hrrumph

KnottyLocks · 19/09/2011 17:43

SoupDragon · 19/09/2011 17:51

I went out early on the school run in order to fit I a trip to the post office.

which would have been great had I actually taken the parcel with me. Blush

KnottyLocks · 19/09/2011 17:59

That's the sort of thing I do, Soupy. GrinThere's always tomorrow.

SoupDragon · 19/09/2011 18:06

I will have to print the postage myself from the royal mail site which may make it easier to remember!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 19/09/2011 18:09

I'm feeling the love now Knotty.

Squares posted yesterday, I hope they reach you safely. Smile

GetOnYourDancingShoes · 20/09/2011 09:48

Squares are on their way (pesky ends sewn in).

KnottyLocks · 20/09/2011 09:53

Thanks all Smile

I've asked for this thread to be moved to Arts and Crafts now so it isn't lost

Just so you know where to find it.

NessaRose · 20/09/2011 10:14

Woohoo the wool arrived today just about to get started.

SoupDragon · 20/09/2011 12:24

good news Cupoftea's DD doesn't have Edwards or any of the life limiting genetic abnormalities!!

MilkNoSugarPlease · 20/09/2011 12:27

Oh soup, that's wonderful!! Thank you for letting us know!!

SoupDragon · 20/09/2011 12:31

I reckon it is because I ordered some Just In Case wool, which arrived this morning :)

KnottyLocks · 20/09/2011 12:40

Isn't it just fantastic news?
I went to bed thinking of them and woke up doing the same. Such a beautiful little girl.

Soupy, you can have a Star for that. Smile

KnottyLocks · 20/09/2011 12:50

This thread is now in Arts and Crafts. I had it moved so that WTW and Cheese or anyone else can look at it should they ever want to.

After all, your hard work won't disappear after 90 days, seemed wrong that the thread should.

MilkNoSugarPlease · 20/09/2011 13:17

Knotty-did my wool turn up do you know?

KnottyLocks · 20/09/2011 13:31

Milky, sorry. I forgot to reply to your PM Blush
Yes it did and her needles are sparking Grin

It appears I'm starting to drop them there juggling balls.

It's tricksy under all this wool.

KnottyLocks · 20/09/2011 13:34

My youngest is totally into the swing of it now. He no longer races to the door to get the parcels thinking they are presents.
Instead he says, "das wool iznit?" and returns to merry destruction.
