Blanket Number 6, please help [sad]

Following on from the blanket for Magic8 which is under construction, we'd like to offer one to Whatevertheweather who has recently lost her baby daughter.

I know there is already an army of knitters and crocheters and donors out there; would anyone be able to join us?

Knotty sorry I didn't get to the PO today - will definitely go in the morning and try to take some pics before I go. Have done some little flowers as well but left long ends on them then you can put them where you want or bin them.

Have some oddments left, so if you need more i can probably make a mixed stripey one if there is time? Or if you want to organise me another donor if there is time? (Can i request blue or purple or green?)

Seven grannies in the post to you this morning Knotty. They struggled a bit with their shopping trollies and canes, and I had to fight to get them all squashed in, but they succumbed in the end.

There's some wee flowers in there too, and my leftover wool and a surprise. Have sent it recorded, signed for 1st class, so hopefully you might get it in the morning.

Knotty I'm going to be a touch late as my donor wool never arrived ( but definitely a problem with post rather than with donor) and it's taken me until today to source a ball of Cashsoft, which is an interesting shade of green as the alternatives were even less suitable.

I'll be doing two squares with leaves (one for each of Whatever and Cheese's blankets) as a) I know Edgar really liked the one I did for her blanket and b) they are fairly quick and easy despite looking otherwise.

I'm not going to get them in the post today as I've still got one square and six leaves to knit, but they will be with you as soon as is humanly possible after the weekend.
