Blanket Number 6, please help [sad]

Following on from the blanket for Magic8 which is under construction, we'd like to offer one to Whatevertheweather who has recently lost her baby daughter.

I know there is already an army of knitters and crocheters and donors out there; would anyone be able to join us?

Can I just check, is last posting for both WTW and cheese's blankets on Satuday? Got my wool today so need to get motoring.

I am busy sewing the border round the outside of my first ever blanket (friends baby arrived safe and well this morning). I am rather pleased with it -it's not perfect but it looks lovely.

Then I can get back to squares for these blankets.

Knotty, did you get a purple/blue "square" from me last week? I say "square" as once I'd done about half of it, I realised that it was too wide, and yet I'd struggled with my previous one sent to PurplePidjin was too small. [inexperienced knitter emoticon]

I hope it doesn't cause you too many headaches!! I'm now attempting to do the next one from a corner, but I don't really know how to m1. The stitches are increasing on the needles, but I'm fairly certain I'm doing it wrong. Will persevere and hopefully learn.
