Following on from the blanket for Magic8 which is under construction, we'd like to offer one to Whatevertheweather who has recently lost her baby daughter.

I know there is already an army of knitters and crocheters and donors out there; would anyone be able to join us?

I have finally managed to get pictures of my squares up on my profile (had to abandon ipad and use dp's laptop). The wool used for my squares was donated by Pinot.

Last posting date for Whatever's blanket squares is Saturday 17th September. Hope that's ok with you all. Any later squares will go on Cheese's blanket as I'll be working on Whatever's first.

Squares are coming to me, not Pidj. I'll PM the address to you as early as I can this week

Please include any leftover wool - I'll use this to put the blankets together. Also include your MN name so I can tell you they have arrived.

If you'd like to send a card for Whatever and Cheese, I'll package these up with the blankets.

If you'd like your squares to go on a specific blanket, please write me a little note.

I'm off to work for a few hours. Will return any PMs on my return.

Yes the flowers on the green square are embroidered on. I've been knitting for about 35 years and intarsia is still a mystery to me.

I have been somewhat distracted from this by DS1 probably fracturing his ankle during rugby yesterday. Should have a nice long wait in the fracture clinic on Wednesday which will be ideal for a spot of crocheting:o
