Are there any objections if I use the leftover wool from the Edgar and Rindercella blankets to make something for Blondes? I've got loads! Anyone with leftovers feel free to pm me about either sending it on or sending more squares :)

so do we have a date then?

purplepidjin · 08/06/2011 14:19

Knotty's at work and I've got enough on taking a bashing in the doghouse so I'll just be following orders on this one! You're more than welcome to say hi next time you're down, blondey Smile

Tired and wrung out thanks to:

MotherOfSnortpigs Star
Gemmaraffe Star
Anonymous 7 orange and baby blue Star

And Pistey for my ninja top hooker badge (pic on profile in two ticks)

I'm still chuckling Grin

Nice badge Grin

Blimey, it's madness out there tonight: shed loads of posters who are clearly deliberately antagonistic - or maybe just a couple with a million name changes. Not nice.

Work again tomorrow. Got to get some stuff done for summat next week. Means concentration - ouch. Nicely vague, isn't it? Grin

Will update re meet after that.
If brain cells still there.
If they ever were.
Albeit slightly wonky.

)))Squidges all around(((

Shock am I turning in to a hun?

I think it's time for bed...

RatherBeOnThePiste · 09/06/2011 07:16

Thumbs up for Pidj the top hooker....!
And Knotty you are a woman of mystery. Are you a spy? Confused

RatherBeOnThePiste · 09/06/2011 07:18

Did you know that the official term for a pat on the shoulder is Hypodermic Affection and it's a physical intervention taught on conflict management courses in care homes, special schools etc?

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 09/06/2011 12:01

would that be an Oxymoron?
strong latte
I think so...

mistlethrush · 09/06/2011 12:31

piste - it does sound a bit like me asking for a Decafinated double espresso (which I do sometimes Grin)

purplepidjin · 09/06/2011 13:36

I was thinking of a triple espresso with a mug full of hot milk as a compromise between Knotty paint stripper and me ditchwater

Today I have had a lovely day of doing precisely fuck all in which I have seen the doc, made an appointment with a personal trainer (the nice guy downstairs with a shop/private gym who's actually cheaper than the local rec), had my passport pictures taken and done the form, banked £40 of cheques £20 of which I found in the back of a drawer, and spent my surprise £25 of Co-op vouchers on yummy food Grin

I like lazy days Hmm

Well done that Pidj Star (for doing f... all so effectively)

purplepidjin · 09/06/2011 13:55

I have an hour in which to MN and wish I had a printer because I've found a lovely pattern on burdastyle and I'm itching to make it!

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 09/06/2011 15:25

Pidj - can I print the pattern and send it to you?

purplepidjin · 09/06/2011 18:00

It's 18 pages long... assets.burdastyle.com/patterns/print_at_homes/000/000/988/FREE029_-_Blusa_com_gola_franzida_original.pdf?1302107754 but if you send me some fabric (or costs and I'll get what you want) I'll make you one too Smile

Adair, Star and thank you, it arrived today. Gorgeous colour!

I've printed it Pidgy and will post tomorrow, you don't have to make me one, it is nice to do something for youooooooooo, cos you seem to be doing stuff for everyone else

purplepidjin · 09/06/2011 23:13

I like sewing. Will facebook pics of mine when I get round to it - just took an order for 10 bibs which is why i'm off to the shop Grin

OP posts:
RatherBeOnThePiste · 09/06/2011 23:17

I can't sew either < downcast > except I had to make DD a bridesmaids dress in ivory raw silk when she was 2. in the end it was fine. But bloody hell!

purplepidjin · 09/06/2011 23:20

Tomorrow will be another lovely day of fabric shopping with my Mum because she buys me lunch, my first personal training session eek and some sewing Grin

I will get on with the blanket over the weekend if the Dudes don't make me do some real work
