Please make it quickish though, I'd like to think I'll get this finished around the end of next week so it can go to its new home

Right, 8 parcels today

2 dark blue textured - anonymous

Mid blue and cream crochet flower - ohboob (pattern please!)

3 duck egg - purpleknittingmum (you're not that far away from me, y'know...)

Mid blue and 2 balls of wool (yay!) from MadamImAdam (I'm not bloody unravelling it, you twonk )

1 sage green from MinnieBar

1 pale blue textured heart from someone who has accused me of being a knitter

5 in various colours from SayAnything - not oddly shaped, and I now have to work out where the middle is going to be so I can put your "L" in!

I now have 101 squares still to put in. Thats 150 been sent plus my one! Awesome stuff, everyone! The blanket is currently 5'x2'6 which is 10x5 (50 squares for those as duff at maths as me) so another 70 will take me to 5'x6' which I reckon is about the right size New pic is up at www.facebook.com/mimapants in the Blanket For Edgar folder

What do we think to floor cushions? One for each of the girls' rooms? I know there are more squares to come in and I can always do some plain grannies to fill the odd gap at the end if necessary. I need 20 more squares to do a front for each cushion, then I've got some pinky-orange shot silk I picked up in JL bargain bin I could use to back it, and a couple of cheap cushion pads from, well, anywhere really! I think I'll easily get 20 more from what people have said. Opinions please...

I left a comment on Farcebook about lap blankies from the extra squares. If you have 30 left over from the big blanket and think you have 20 more coming that would give two little lap blankets of about 5x5 squares so 75cm square . I will happily knit more if you want. i have a book of 200 knitted squares that i would like to do more from.

Floor cushions sound like a great idea. If I'd had enough wool left, I was going to knit a little doll's blanket for each of the girls. I might still do that, but with different wool.

Oh - and you are very welcome, Maclover135 - I have a heart pattern done the same way, and could type that up for you too, if you want.

So glad mine arrived. So the bits I did in yellow should really be green to make them leaves, but I had a bit of yellow left over which I thought still looked nice.

The squares all look amazing.

It's lovely, I shall be experimenting if I ever get out from under the pile of crafty stuff! First craft show is a week on Saturday and I'm bricking it somewhat!
