Purple im a bit shy Blush to tag on facebook, i like the anonimity iyswim. My squarrs were the mid blue 3d flowers if you want to tag them.

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 09/04/2011 18:31

I am really sorry, but I can still only see one photo of knitted squares - am I being dim and looking in the wrong place? Blush

purplepidjin · 09/04/2011 19:05

Magic its up to you if you want to be tagged

Sdtg I've barely been home for three days 2 12 hour shifts at work and a 4 hour drive to a car show and drop my classic beetle off at a specialist for mot work. I also don't have all the squares yet and I want to mix the colours up. I'll hopefully have 5 minutes to breathe and take pics tomorrow [mwah]

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 09/04/2011 23:06

Purple - I am so sorry for nagging and you are wonderful for a) doing all this and b) not telling me to beggar off and give you a moment to breathe!

mwahh mwahh back to you.

purplepidjin · 09/04/2011 23:11

I'd take some now but DP has already had to be told off for giving me a running commentary on MOTD Hmm and the rabbit would try to eat it - he started on the Yellow Pages earlier Shock

Work is the safest place for this blanket Wink but that depends on whether my Dudes are being demanding or grumpy leaving me in peace

Littlefish · 09/04/2011 23:13

Purple - I posted 2 squares to you today.

1 x moss stitch edge with moss stitch heart
1 s moss stitch edge with moss stitch square

Both in pale blue.

purplepidjin · 09/04/2011 23:23

Thanks Littlefish, I'll let you know here when they turn up. I've been out all day and got back to a card from the postie saying s/he's left 6 parcels with next door Shock

Easter namechange from Pidj...

purplerabbitofinle · 10/04/2011 09:35

Tattycoram - duck egg textured heart

Niecie - 2 mid and 2 pale blue (thank you for the note x)

Duck egg squares/bobbles from a GL postcode, otherwise anon

PrettyCandles - 7 gorgeous multicoloured grannies

JulesJules - 2 knitted teal

Angelpantser - 2 duck egg and 2 grey-blue bobbly hearts

Such beautiful squares from everyone! I'm off to rabbitproof my sewing stuff, then will take pics when I have room to spread the blanket out. It's 5' x 2'6" at it's widest but I cocked up so it's not even at the moment Blush

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 10/04/2011 12:57

It sounds as if it is going to be absolutely beautiful, purple. I'm working on squares for a blanket for myself at the moment, and I just hope it is as nice.

LawrieMarlow · 11/04/2011 16:37

I hope my squares arrived today - please let me know when they arrive.

purplerabbitofinle · 11/04/2011 16:58

Lawrie, todays were delivered next door because I went back to bed Blush in my defence I work in care and had thrown up. Four hours later I woke up Blush and the postie had already been. will get dp to knock on the door later Blush as I'm not dressed yet Blush

purplerabbitofinle · 11/04/2011 17:22

LawrieMarlow - 2 pink and 2 lilac (jealous of colour!)

BettyMum - coloured flower and textured heart

Silkenladder - sage and teal, all the way from Germany Shock

Anonymous - lilac and mid blue checks

Littlefish - 2 duck egg.

My neighbours now think I'm really weird rather than a tad eccentric...

LawrieMarlow · 11/04/2011 18:57

Oh poor you :( Hope you are feeling better soon.

And glad my squares have safely reached you :)

EasterChickAndRabbitKurri · 11/04/2011 19:13

Glad my last one arrived purple (I'm KurriKurri in easter guise and it was the checked one)

Reading through this thread, the colours and designs people have sent sound lovely. Good luck with the sewing Smile

magicOC · 11/04/2011 19:29

purple, you said youd like to do a border but not sure if enough left over wool? How many balls do you think you would need? Im happy to buy for you and post on? Off work this wk so can go shopping tomorrow. let me know what you think. magic X

silkenladder · 11/04/2011 20:19

Wow, I didn't think my squares would arrive that fast. Bit late to apologize now for forgetting to enclose the leftover wool Blush. It was only when DD picked it up on Sat and said, "Strings in the bin, okay?" that I realised.

Hope you feel better soon, purplerabbit.

purplerabbitofinle · 11/04/2011 20:32

Cheers, Lawrie, amd feeling drained but back into work tomorrow - if nothing else, I've got a blanket to make Wink

Kurri, it's awesome. So pretty! But hands off my bunny for your Kurri....

Magic, the more wool I have the better a border I can do. I would like to at least get around the edge in dc to give a coherent structure. If I can face it there's enough wool, I'll do some shells or something lacy Smile

whydobirdssuddenlyappear · 11/04/2011 20:58

Can't believe I missed signing up for this. Do you need anybody else to knit/crochet squares, or do you have enough?
