There's been a spate of threads recently about things JK Rowling has shamefully failed to comment on. Wouldn't it be easier to put them all in a single thread?

I'll start.

JK Rowling has shamefully failed to comment on the Manchester City fraud scandal.

I personally think it's absolutely shameful that she hasn't put her considerable talents to work on Britain's next bid for the Eurovision Song Contest. All that money, all that online influence and complete tumbleweed. She's even talented enough to write us a decent entry for the first time this century - I mean, does no one remember the seminal "Do the Hippogriff"?

Well, there are a few people, who shall remain nameless (at least by me), who are doing unspeakable things with marmite, butter, and Weetabix.

I'd have thought JKR could have sorted this by now, given all her millions, but nary a peep. So we continue to suffer... utterly shameless. No need for it. Abandoned, that's what we are. Abandoned.

Saw Christmas stuff on the shop shelves yesterday when we haven't even got Halloween out of the way yet. Rushed to X to see if she'd posted anything to validate my disgust.

reading all these posts I'm appalled at JKR's lack of care for others.

I hate to insert myself but our garage may need total rewiring, a big expense she hasn't offered to help with and a big inconvenience-she has not offered to let me store all my garage crap treasures in her castle (I'm american and I know all Brits and UK people live in ancient castles so don't try to tell me you don't!)

Just remembered. They were late collecting the bins last week. Her cult members will say she knows nothing about the collection schedule and somebody had already emailed the council, but the people who have bin day on a Wednesday are a minority and she just doesn't care.

She's never actually come out and said that she has cried at Bambi, which I think basically proves that she didn't and therefore was GLAD his mother got shot dead.

Well. They missed my recycling bin last week AND you can only report it missed online AND the council portal was down. Was there one word from JKR? Was there fuck. The Cult's persistent lack of engagement with the real issues surrounding local council waste disposal is frankly shocking.
