There's been a spate of threads recently about things JK Rowling has shamefully failed to comment on. Wouldn't it be easier to put them all in a single thread?

I'll start.

JK Rowling has shamefully failed to comment on the Manchester City fraud scandal.

There are about thirty plastic boxes and forty lids...none of them pair up.

La la la. Not listening

Last time I saw Tupperware posts I ended up spending too much money on new containers. Which was totally due to JKR sending me the far right money not commenting that I was wasting my money.

I've just bought ten glass (because of forever chemicals and I make a lot of chicken soup) food storage things with snappy on lids.
They're lovely and shiny, no thanks to JKR.

Have you checked your CO detectors? Ours chirppued (?sp) annoying and cost us £70 in a burglar alarm service as we mis-identified the chirrups as being made by the burglar alarm. JKR was silent, nary a chirrup out of her.

It's definitely coming from a neighbours house.

Of course their detector may be going off!

Our burgalar alarm kept going off about 15 mins after we left the house and after driving past it blaring off one day I called the guys out.

It was a spider building a web over the sensor each time we went out.

I had a spider that kept setting the fire alarm off. Has herself issued a condemnation of the spider community? NO she has not.

I've been holding off on criticising JKR, because frankly I think some of the criticisms on here are a bit unreasonable, but for two mornings in a row I have had a BLUE TIT TRAPPED IN MY BATHROOM.

Nothing so far from the egregious Rowlster. It is particularly upsetting because the window has been firmly shut and so the only possible means of entry is magic - on which she is the so-called expert.

They do have a tendency to go blue (and black) when trapped.

It stole the matches of course. Damned arsonist spiders! And what is JK DOING about it? Nothing of course. Not a word about this very serious and totally real issue.

It was inserting very fine web filaments into the place where the smoke detector detects smoke, but it was almost certainly working up to matches and kindling. Rotter. Did JKR rebuke it? Your guess.

Given that she namechecked Mumsnet in The Running Grave, she's bloody lax in not congratulating each and every one of us on our achievements in job finding, weight loss, decluttering etc.

She did give Il Portico a nice plug, though, for having the best pasta in London. So she can obviously dish out praise when she can be arsed.
