Today was another Parkrun Saturday and like every weekend the achievements by women was demoted by men running in the female category.

We are hoping to change this! In only a few weeks time, we will debut Reality Rules Runners UK at Parkrun. We hope that many hundreds (hopefully thousands) of you will join us to send a clear and strong statement to Parkrun about the huge support there is for fairness and sex-based categories at their events.

All sports events are responsible for putting on fair events. This includes free, volunteer run, community events like Parkrun.

So please tell people about Reality Rules Runners UK, as we are hoping to attract lots more supporters before our debut at Parkrun on 3 October.

Thank you! 🙏

Hadley Freeman defended Woody Allen. She attacked his accuser in print.

JK Rowling defended Johnny Depp after he was ruled a domestic abuser.

Remind me what the number one rule of feminism is?

Clue: it's noticing when the men in your supposedly feminist movement are most interested in discussing children's bodies, posting graphic nudes of people they say are trans children, and attacking supportive parents.

You've literally just proved my point

...and the weird thing is, you won't even realise how you have

How exactly am I encouraging and cheering men on to harm anyone? Do tell. With receipts. Or apologise.

I’ve already explained above. I can’t think of a more simple way to explain the connection to you I’m afraid 🤷‍♀️

Accommodating such men within a supposedly feminist movement in 2026 is very new phenomenon.

Oh there are definitely some ‘feminists’ accommodating men, but it ain’t the ones you accuse of it.

FlirtsWithRhinos · 03/10/2026 23:13

Canadanian · 03/10/2026 23:05

I’m not asking you to challenge them; I’m asking you to stop encouraging them, empowering them, and cheering them on.

If you just STOPPED doing anything at all, you would cause less harm to cis women and trans people than you are doing now.

Just checking - by "Stopped" - you mean "just shut up and do as you are told when it comes to accepting male bodies in female spaces and male projections about women becoming the literal defintion of us in society and law"?

Just want to be sure exactly how far under the bus you think we should throw ourselves and our own interests.

Oh - and in return, are you going to demand the violent imagary that has become so gleefully central to Trans Rights protests and online commentary is also stopped?

Rollingpinofdoom · 03/10/2026 23:13

No, you accused me personally of encouraging and cheering men on. So I need receipts. Or an apology. Show me where I have ever encouraged a man to behave horribly to anyone.

what men do is not women’s fault

You can demand an apology until the cows come home. Not going to happen.

He was a boy and now a man. That's how it works.

Always a baby to me, obvs. I still can't cope with the idea he's old enough to drink, he looks about 12.

So what do men who ‘stare at young girls' bodies.’ have to do with your ‘son’?

TransParentlyAnnoyed · 03/10/2026 23:15

Rollingpinofdoom · 03/10/2026 23:02

Then take it up with the men doing that. And if you do see a Cis man doing this, take it up with CSCS. You can get their employer involved that way. Either way

what men do is not women’s fault.

Gender critical women have a responsibility to call out men within their movement who openly write vile CSA, fantasise about hurting trans women and stare at someone's boobs.

Same as I have a responsibility to say that I don't support Stephanie Hayden, who's a paedophile.

A good example is Graham Linehan's repulsive posting of graphic nudes he says are of trans children. Oh my God I cannot believe how many gc women have defended him while knowing he does that.

To be fair, that’s the response I expected. So no receipts either then.

if women defending their sex based rights is “transphobic”, then the people opposing those rights must be misogynistic obviously

I'd really like to know that. If they could just get a bus without staring at his groin and chest, it'd be a start.

To be fair, transphobic doesn't mean anything these days, I can't get aerated about it as an insult. If anything it means has working eyes and brain as far as I can see. With a side salad of 'anything that i don't like people saying' .

NotBadConsidering · 03/10/2026 23:20

Isn’t it amazing how all of a sudden TPA and Canadanian are exalting the importance of calling out all the times men treat women poorly on a small scale, but can’t extend that courtesy to Park Run.

Oh right now they are staring at his groin too. Did you feel that ‘tits’ alone wasn’t laying it on thick enough or was it more the whole “they stare at the ‘tits’ of everyone they perceive as female” penny dropping?

OK, let's take this slowly. If he's not a young girl, but a late teenage boy, they're not staring at a young girl, which is what you are complaining about.

If they are, then he (used for the purpose of this, would clearly rather use she) is one.

Which is it?

You are part of an anti trans (or gender critical if you prefer) movement; I believe that movement is making women and trans people less safe in the way I set out above.

If you are NOT part of that movement, then maybe I don’t mean ‘you’. But I think you would say you are?

It's her name. I don't support.her in the slightest, because she's a paedophile.

I have her blocked on social media, never interact with her and have made it very plain how I felt about what imo was grooming behaviour towards Sophia Brooks.

My sympathies are entirely with her victim. It must be awful seeing her so prominent on social media.

I don't give a damn how she identifies and her weight is completely irrelevant. What matters is standing up for survivors.

What she did was evil, it was life-destroying - and using playground taunts in many ways undermines the seriousness of what she did.

But TRA defend men who issue rape threats, assault threats and death threats to women, and call women awful names for defending their sex based rights. So if GC feminists are “responsible” for men’s behaviour, then TRA are also responsible for the actions of their cohort right? Didn’t one TRA say women defending their sex based rights deserved to be raped with a splintery rolling pin? So that is what you are responsible for. What are you going to do about it?

Yes, it's getting a bit grubby now.

I disagree, I think it pins him to what he did and doesn't allow him to escape into another identity.

Fine words, but I don't think I've ever seen you condemn the vile abuse JKR gets, or acknowledged that Brooks marching past women playing a repeated loop of "If you see a TERF punch her in the fucking face" with the convicted violent offender who said it marching beside him, or condemined the posts and posts and posts on terfisaslur.com, or that TRA who wrote the uttery vile and bizarre fantay about TERFs being raped for breeding by trans women, or Andrea Chu's blank expectant arsehole, or....

So forgive me, but I'm going to look very carefully at what was actually said by who before I let someone who aligns themself with the Genderist movement suggest they have any moral high ground.

No. I’m not ant trans. I’m pro woman. So again, how will letting men into female spaces make women safer? I think trans people should be able to live their best lives, as long as they use any spaces relevant to their sex. If a man wants to wear lippy and a dress and call himself Edwina, he can crack on. As long as he used male facilities. And if anyone is mean, I will defend him.

When your moral high ground is the Mariana Trench.....

But you would support SH in accessing female spaces? So you’d fight for the right of man you believe is a pedophile into female spaces? If not, why not?
