Today was another Parkrun Saturday and like every weekend the achievements by women was demoted by men running in the female category.

We are hoping to change this! In only a few weeks time, we will debut Reality Rules Runners UK at Parkrun. We hope that many hundreds (hopefully thousands) of you will join us to send a clear and strong statement to Parkrun about the huge support there is for fairness and sex-based categories at their events.

All sports events are responsible for putting on fair events. This includes free, volunteer run, community events like Parkrun.

So please tell people about Reality Rules Runners UK, as we are hoping to attract lots more supporters before our debut at Parkrun on 3 October.

Thank you! 🙏

We're living in an age where - as I predicted last week - the US President is defending the Cornell rapists. As if more than a few hundred cranks thinking 'trans woman might run in park' is a real issue.

Thank you @TransParentlyAnnoyed. This is the thing really isn’t it - it’s so clear that none of the people spending their time on this weird RR campaign actually care about women or children or their safety.

I’m sorry your son has had to deal with the creeps and the transinvestigators, and that things like this campaign make your son less safe, and less comfortable at a community event that was designed to be inclusive. It’s horrible. And I’m sorry one or two posters on here are also saying disgusting things.

Thank you. As for disgusting stuff - it's really not a surprise. Par for the course.

Just upsetting to see so much money, time and media focus wasted on this non-issue. I'm waiting for more anti-trans commentators to defend those rapist scumbags, just as they did Russelll Brand. Just like JKR supported Depp.

So fed up with those who insist that transvestigating women in public toilets will make us safer.

So let me understand, you’re not upset at the first poster who made disgusting comments about a child's body, but at the posters calling it out. Why?

Odd, isn't it.

You are the one who referred to your child’s body in disgustingly crude terms. You should honestly be ashamed.

Responded above. And also to correct the sex, to be fair. And to agree that if it happened, the people looking were out of order.

‘If it happened’. Why the IF?

Feminists have campaigned so hard for women to be believed about sexual harrassment and assault (remember ‘believe women’??) …. One of the saddest things about gender critical ‘feminism’ for me is when I see gender critical ‘feminists’ disbelieving trans women or trans men’s experiences of sexual harassment.

GreenwayHouse · 03/10/2026 22:42

Great to see this thread so active and being bumped so often.

On X, there are a few men who jump on every post about RRR to tell us what nasty transphobes and bigots we are etc and how pathetic the campaign is. Yet, despite it being so apparently pathetic, it riles them so much that, like on this thread, they feel the need to shout it down at every opportunity. If it’s not that significant, why do they spend so much of their precious time telling us how pointless it is?

And a happy consequence of them doing this is that it helps to bump the threads and promote the X posts. Cheers guys!

murasaki · 03/10/2026 22:42

I'm not into reporting often, as I think we should let these things stand, but the double standards here are appalling.

TransParentlyAnnoyed · 03/10/2026 22:43

Hi.

  1. My son isn't a child. He's an adult.
  2. I said men regularly stared at his tits and your takeaway was that I was being disgusting? Wow. That is creepy as hell.
  3. Your (or anyone else's) inability to cope with the idea that trans men have tits really isn't my problem.

But why should feminists be concerned about transwomen’sexual assault. They are men. And if you’re asking feminists to be concerned about trans men’s reports of sexual assault, you’d be saying transmen were not in fact men but women.

The If is because I can't believe an actual parent would describe their child in such terms. So I'm not sure the child exists or that specific incident happened.

I am fully aware that sexual harassment is rife.

My son isn't a child. He's nearly 19.

And yes, he has tits. So do I.

I was referring to creepy types obsessing about them. Point proved I think.

Hold on, didn’t you say in another thread your kid was getting bullied at school? So which is it?

FlirtsWithRhinos · 03/10/2026 22:46

So weird how Genderists are so desparate to delegitimise female people who just want the reality of sex to continue to be recognised.

No one is saying trans people can't be exactly who they are. All we are saying is pleas stop pretending they are the sex that they are not.

Trans people are living proof that gender and sex are different, so why is there so much focus on having to be treated as the opposite sex when by definition that sex is the least relevent thing to who they are?

Yes, creepy men stare at ‘tits’. Don’t ogle anyone’s gender identity. I’m not sure what you think your point is.

People do strange things. For example some people will get angry when someone repeats the crude words a parent uses to refer to their own child, but will express sympathy for the parent who spoke in such extremely crude terms. As I said, strange. I think it’s a form of tribalism.

Or, it’s being able to understand nuance and context, and that two people might use the same word for very different purposes.

Yes, it happened. Often. Weekly. While he was underage, and happens now.

He had tits then, and has them now.as an adult.

If your biggest issue is a slang term rather than the report of a mum reporting sexual harassment, then you are part of the problem.

murasaki · 03/10/2026 22:47

I genuinely struggle to see how I'm the bad guy here.

Yeah, I recommend keeping a spreadsheet if it’s hard to keep things straight…

I think probably their son was bullied whilst at school, and has since got older? Is it the concept of time that you’re struggling with here?

My point is: the anti-trans movement is enabling creeps like this.

Staring at, commenting on and being really breathtakingly graphic about trans people's boobs and genitals is commonplace within your movement.

Including those of children.

How many times have you confronted a GC poster on here for graphic descriptions of children's genitals? Or breasts being "amputated," "mutilated," "lopped off"?

Or all the men here discussing utterly disgusting, totally fictional 'child with grown naked man' scenarios?

But a normal slang word for breasts and you take the high ground. What a massive surprise.

Not me mate. Like I said, sometimes keeping a spreadsheet to keep things straight is a good idea…

Probably struggling in the same way you think it’s okay for a little bit of sex discrimination and treating women poorly because the big stuff still happens. Is it the concept of sex discrimination you’re struggling with here?

Oh no. I read the entire exchange. I’m pretty confident about my conclusion. Another example would be. Ooo I don’t know. Not correcting posters who wrongly assumed your child was a child while the assumption was being used to attack other posters, but making that correction when it served your agenda.

As I said, strange.

FlirtsWithRhinos · 03/10/2026 22:55

It's almost like TPA's kid's sex is a significant factor in what sort of challanegs she faces in life regardless of what "Gender" the kid identifies as.

Almost like TPA's kid still has a significant amount more in common with other women (in the original female sense of the word) than she does with male even if she does identify as a man.

Almost like sex does matter, and that pissing around with language to accomodate some people's weird sexist ideas about what type of personalities men and women have doesn't actually change a thing other than really mess up Feminists' attempts to make things better for female people.
