I keep reading that sex realists, of which I am one, are a cult. Perhaps a genderist could be so kind as to explain what a cult is, and why we qualify. Sometimes one of us calls them a cult too. Who has a better case, hmmm?

Well, you'd be wrong. And you'll have to find a way to cope with that.
Many of us have posted on Reddit, for example, and been deleted.
Why?
Because it's the true definition of an echo chamber.
Here is not. How do we know that? Because you're here, posting inflammatory nonsense and everyone is letting your posts stand without deletion. Because the things you write do so much to help the sex realist position in ways that you probably can't even comprehend.

I used to post regularly on reddit, including on a 'debate' sub with trans people.

Thats until the subs were closed or banned from discussing feminism and safeguarding.

Im still on a more private forum with some of these people. The thing that strikes me is the trans people I talk to want somesort of gatekeeping because the last thing they want is to be alone with the majority of vocal TRA. These ones who have no sense of safeguarding, viper.

'We' used to be able to say that sex was binary then virtually every social media organisation banned us, doxxed us, threatened us, reported us etc etc etc, and even on here complained about us and forced all threads into one board...that 'we' then get accused of never leaving because every thread about this gets shoved back here like some sort of twilight zone invisible hand...and then 'we' get accused of never leaving this 'walled garden' and on and on and on.

But feel free to explain what it is we are missing, how does a man turn into a woman?

You are mistaken if you believe that there's any kind of fair, balanced, grown-up, back-and-forth between people like me who believe that human sex is binary and immutable, and people who believe that it's possible to transition from one to the other.

The latter are the ones who do the banning and name-calling and threatening.

I'm in the fortunate position of not having to watch what I say publicly. Many women are not. I post fairly regularly on public pages on Facebook. I occasionally have comments deleted - nothing abusive, just old-fashioned men aren't women stuff. What I can say is the deletions occur far less frequently than they used to, and more people are much more confident about expressing and supporting a broadly GC position in public.

Of course, I am happy to say that mammals can't change sex IRL. I am happy to specify that Human Beings are mammals too.

People can call it a 'dogma' if they like, but they would be wrong. It's just the reality of mammals. Plus, as I said, if I was ever presented with evidence that proved that mammals can go through a natural metamorphosis that changes their sex, then I would be happy to give that example when discussing the biology of mammals.

I'm sad to hear your experiences were instant bans (obviously, I've no way to tell if that's true or not, so have to take what you're saying in good faith). That is not the outcome I'd have preferred for you. The preferred outcome, obviously, would be to have left those threads active and allow debate to flourish...

...which segues neatly to the next point, since I can already predict the reactions of many of the less capable regulars here to this post.

There has been much reference to Reddit. Not just on this thread, but I've seen it constantly and consistently used in weaponised whataboutery across this area of MN ("yeahbutyeahbutyeahbut Reddit", "Reddit are worse times ten", "At least we're not Reddit", etc.).
Unfortunately, this is not quite the 'gotcha' some of you seem to think it is, so I'll state here and now, very plainly for the slower children at the back, nobody - absolutely nobody - is suggesting Reddit is a bastion of balanced, informed discourse. Indeed, it's often worse than this particular area of MN, but the salient point here is that you are both cut from the exact same cloth.

I close as I opened, by saying again that it's unfortunate that those who did attempt to post elsewhere had their posts/threads/accounts/whatever banned for doing so; I imagine it unfortunately only reinforces the pervading, obsessive attitude here that anything not MN - and Reddit especially - is evil, or misguided, or beyond the enlightenment some of you genuinely seem to think you've achieved.

He totally failed to comprehend that he had blocked loads of those same "GC feminists" because he didn't like their feminist opinions on other matters. Then complained he wasn't hearing them.

The same is happening here. Pro-women supporters are blocked on other social media for speaking the factual truth and then ignorant posters claim we are saying nothing elsewhere.

To me, that's the very definition of "comfortable" - to make sure all your opponents have no voice. That you aren't faced with opinions you don't like. A true walled garden, if you will.
