It's better to be up front about what's important to you and what's a deal breaker for you when seeking a relationship with someone.
I'm not on the dating scene, so I have no idea what Hinge is but it seems weird that if you're a straight male looking for a straight women they would send you the details of people other than straight women, and delete your account if you object.
Nothing makes sense in this world, I'm glad I'm old and well past the need to be fixed up with someone. The way things are heading, I can see our birth rate dropping to zero.

In my view politics is down stream from personality so better to know in advance what you can & can't tolerate to save time. Im not saying all politics is a deal breaker because often people on the different sides just want the same things but disagree on how you get there.
