They are biological females due to this study: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8955456/

Also, if you think stripping down what women are to their body parts, that's what feminists fought against for years. Now women can get jobs, start bank accounts, own property, and so many more things. This is a very regressive view of what women are.

Every cell in the body of a biological female will be XX.
Every cell in the body of a biological male will be XY.

It would appear that some people* who like to argue the ‘biology’ case, are unaware of this basic fact.

*probably along with the majority of people in general.

Trans identified men, should not have access to women's spaces.

I fucking love it when a thread collapses in a jumble of pineapple pizza soul transplanted nausea auras while the kind girls stand up proudly for men's rights and the mean old ladies say NO.

This is MN at its best.

I bloody love being a crone.

@Wishesandhorses

Actually many beliefs in souls returning to human form at intervals for lifetimes discuss that souls don't have a gender, and that the point of a soul having a 'human' incarnation is to learn in the journey of that soul through multiple lives, during which the soul will enter bodies of both sexes for the wide range of experience needed, and usually talks about the soul or higher self having chosen the body and life it goes into. The soul itself doesn't have a sex.

So transgenderism would actually be going against the very point of existence? If existence is about learning from a wide range of experience, then insisting on refusing the current sex we're in is refusing the current crop of experience we're supposed to collect. Huh. Interesting 🤔

What does this mean? What's a "male range" brain?

One that can sing anywhere with the tenor/baritone/bass range.

My soul identifies as a hermit swamp witch.

The Brain Sex of transgender women was estimated as 0.75 ± 0.39, thus hovering between cisgender men and cisgender women, albeit closer to cisgender men (see also Figure 1). The follow-up post hoc tests revealed that transgender women were significantly more female than cisgender men (Cohen’s d = 0.64, t(46) = 2.20, p = 0.016), but significantly less female than cisgender women (Cohen’s d = 1.87, t(46) = 6.48, p < 0.001).

Quotation from the results section of the study.

If you are so enamoured with this study, do you accept its conclusions:

"The observed shift away from a male-typical brain anatomy towards a female-typical one in people who identify as transgender women suggests a possible underlying neuroanatomical correlate for a female gender identity. "
if so, do you recognise this suggests evidence of a biological underpinning to being a transgender woman?

An open secret isn't a secret
A hot dog isn't a dog
A shrinking violet isn't a violet
Crow's feet aren't feet
Fair game's not a game
Trans women aren't women

Nonsense, I smoke and can do a passable tenor on occasions!

Goodness, you clearly understand this stuff so well! Would you like to explain it in plain English for those of us unfortunate enough to have only developed female brains on account of us being women and not having our brains enhanced by a temporary illusion that we are men?

Amiiee · 27/07/2026 16:02

I'll answer u personally. I am female, and so is my soul. But I have a higher male affected brain than over 50% of women.

Genuine question. What does "male affected brain" mean, and how are you measuring this?

... This is one of those times when I took someone seriously while they were just taking the piss, isn't it?

Okay, that was a good one then! Souls!

😁

WrongKindOfFeminist · 27/07/2026 16:07

' They could have a soul that was always female until now'

See, I find this quite cute.

It's meaningless, but honest. At least it spells out what 'gender identity' is based on. An ineffable, indescribable item of faith.

A 'female soul' is not a thing that we can base the law on.

I don't smoke and am always a tenor. Makes me popular with female voice choirs!

HollyhocksandPeons · 27/07/2026 16:09

Long-long-long time ago when all of this started, I always thought that there was only one test - say a transwoman is admitted to A&E (don't wish it on anyone, it is only for talking sakes), and this is a life-and-death progression situation. And a female dose is 100 ml and a male dose is 200 ml, again, for talking sakes. And the doctor says 'please tell me what dose to administer, but the administration of the wrong dose will lead to a lethal outcome for you'. I bet you anything that a transwoman will go for the 200 ml, without any doubt. So, basically, if it is costume-play, it is one thing, but if it were life-or-death, the fog would lift very quickly and the realisation, I am a man, give me 200 ml, I don't want to die would ensue.
