David Tennant seemingly hates women

Just seen David Tennant on The Assembly. Might be a repeat not sure. Flabbergasted that in response to a question about supporting transwomen in women’s spaces he said people need to ‘stop the hatred’, step aside and ‘let people just be.’ (Imagine that being said in his over the top faux ‘man of the people’ manner.)

He was then asked a question about making Good Omen’s 3 when Neil Gaiman has been ‘cancelled’ due to the light issues of being accused of Sex trafficking and rape of women. Here, he simply said he couldn’t ’leave people on a cliffhanger’ and moved on.

So, he’s happy to literally line the pockets of (very alleged) male rapists whilst at the same time arguing women not letting men in their spaces is hatred.

Fuck David Tennant.

Wanting female-only toilets, changing rooms, prisons and rape crisis services isn’t inherently dehumanising rhetoric. If someone makes abusive comments, criticise them. But don’t pretend that everyone who holds views like that arw saying the same thing!

So she needs to be treated differently because she's female and black?

It is when they are justified routinely on the basis of trans women being deluded dangerous predators & sexual deviants.

The accusations against Gaiman weren't just feelings, though. Very specific accusations were published, with the journalists having verified all the detail they could. These accusations were from multiple women. Gaiman hasn't really denied most of them except in quite vague ways about recalling things differently.

He is not the actor he thinks he is and is massively overexposed. Same with his Welsh pal. Tennant is a hideous wee woman hater.

Oh feck , Gaiman as well. That series was shite as well and ruined the book.

I just can't believe that he publicly wished a woman was dead (and post BLM, a black woman) to cheers from a room of incels, and his workload has actually increased as a result.

I really wish that when a celebrity or indeed anyone, especially politicians though, say ‘just let them be or be kind, they are then asked some follow up questions about what exactly that means. Does it mean my 15 year old daughter now can’t play her chosen sport or have a single sex changing room at school, a sports ground or a shop? I know they won’t though and celebrities can keep spouting ‘be kind’ nonsense.

All males are potential predators and sexual deviants. 99% of sexual assaults and more than 80% of violent offences are carried out by males. That risk does not change if somebody has an internal sense they are not the sex they actually are.

Women’s single sex spaces and competitions came into being for good reason. Those reasons have not changed, because male violence is still a huge problem in society.

Evidence and risk management are not hate.

All males stay out of women’s spaces. It’s the law. And it’s based on data.

Don’t like the precautions we have to take to reduce the risk of male violence? Stop doing it then.

Women are not actually second class citizens, despite the concerted attempt to take away our rights.

Are you saying she needs to be threatened like that? (Nobody needs to be threatened like that.) Are you suggesting he threatens all the other pollies like that? By this logic all lesbians are potential domestic violence abusers given their propensity for DV abuse as are all muslims potential terrorists, mothers potential child abusers, male teachers, male bosses, priests etc etc.

Are you suggesting all members of potential risk groups be restricted of access or just the ones you don't like?

No I'm telling you these groups carry substantially higher risk factors to the general population in these areas which by your logic should result in restrictions.

We’re talking about single sex spaces and the risks inherent to allowing males into them.

Please provide your evidence that lesbians and Muslim women are more of a risk to other women in these spaces than males.
