Should breast implants for males be made illegal?

happydappy2 · 31/05/2026 10:19

Having learned more about the sexual desires of males, AGP in particular. I now think that as women we have to push back and stop this madness. We live in a world where females are vulnerable to sexual assault by males-we are literally hunted by them. Combined with the safeguarding of children aspect....all parents I know explain to young children that if you get lost, look for a lady to help you, preferably another Mummy....I know men can wear a padded bra to achieve the look, but still the thought of males getting sexual pleasure by having fake boobs & their male tackle-just seems wrong. Am I alone in thinking this? Looking at society as a whole, I can't see any benefit to women and children of men being allowed to get silicone breast implants.....

There are photographs of exactly this (children being born with both sets of genitalia) in the hospital i work in.

No there aren't. No child is born with both sets of genitalia. It's developmentally & embryologically impossible. A few rare DSDs may have ambiguous genitalia but that's different. The true sex may need to be verified by examining chromoomes.

It does happen and it isn't rare.

How do you know you're not Donald Trump, or another race/nationality, or a tiger, or an iPad, or a tea-towel, or Warrington train station?

There was a woman once who 'married' the Berlin Wall - when did you first realise and come to acceptance of the fact that you didn't fancy brick walls (assuming that you don't)?

I am not sure you would be able to understand if that wasn't your experience.
People experience the world in different ways to the way you do.

Well of course. However humans still can't change sex.

Did people on this forum know they were female at age 4? I am guessing yes. So what can't trans people know they are trans at age 4?

Sex is real so knowing whether you are male or female is as simple as looking at your own body. So called "trans" is just a made up thing that no 4 year old would conceive of without the coercion of adults. There is no such thing as a "trans" child just parents who want a "trans" child.

Edited

What if, as a small child, you looked at your body and had a penis, or some approximation of one, despite having internal female organs?
I'm not sure your clear cut idea of how the world works would apply here.
It happens more often than you might like.

Just because you don't agree with something doesn't mean it's any less true 😊

Humans cannot change sex. To say otherwise is a lie.

humans can present as they choose but they can’t, in the uk, access single sex spaces other than those of the sex of which they were born

A small child with an extremely rare and complex DSD should be guided by their parents in this kind of situation, having established, medically, what sex they actually are.

Which has absolutely nothing to do with children being 'transed'.

LlynTegid · 01/06/2026 13:07

I would prefer that breast implants were only for women who have had illness or accident, such as a masectomy because of cancer. Indeed that is my view of cosmetic surgery in general.

My view won't prevail, so as long as not on the NHS, no issue.

Kate8175 · 01/06/2026 13:09

Their body their choice - isn’t that one of the basic tenets of feminism? We shouldn’t be telling people - women, men, cis or trans what to do with their bodies

I'm not lying, maybe your area of expertise didn't include this specialism.
I have knowledge of at least two cases of this happening and parents having to decide which sex to align with (obviously with medical support) and there was a display in the hospital library where i work about this type of surgery.
I am not a militant trans activist but i find these conversations perplexing.
I am simply saying that it must be confusing for a child who is born with both sets of genitalia and no wonder if their brains aren't necessarily aligned to the sex their parents decide they are.
I think it's pretty disappointing for a doctor to take such a cut and dried view really.

So you would be happy for someone to have their legs removed, without having to give any reason for this demand, and then claim disability benefits, a Blue Badge and the cost of adaptations to their car and home? Are you content for your taxes to be spent that way?

What has the existence of people with DSDs got to do with trans?

And no child is born with both sets of genitalia

Exactly. And abhorrent to suggest these people should be denied NHS treatment.
Trans people pay taxes too!

The extremely rare DSD you are describing here does not result in both sets of fully formed genitalia.

You are getting mixed up with 'tissue' being produced. Nowhere close to actual genitalia.

In any event, it's extremely rare and has nothing to do with being trans

Ok, thanks for clarifying. I must have skewed the averages in that case.

That's a pivot from your previous claim that "It does happen and it isn't rare.

You are talking utter rubbish. No child is born with both sets of genitalia. Give over with your anti-science lies attempting to prove that there is such a thing as a "trans" child. There is not, only parents who want a "trans" child.

I am not sure you would be able to understand if that wasn't your experience.
People experience the world in different ways to the way you do.

But you're making it sound like you believe it's normal or rational to believe you are the sex that you clearly are not and never can be.

There's nothing wrong (albeit sad) with somebody saying "I wish I'd been a boy/girl"; but how can it be at all normal or healthy for people to want to mutilate their healthy bodies?

You can dress, act (within the law) and present however you like. If you choose to follow every single stereotype that's commonly applied to the opposite sex, that's entirely up to you; but you cannot ever become the opposite sex.

I think you will find that the confusion is over a small penis that might look like an enlarged clitoris or vice versa. Also confusion over scrotal sacs that look like labia and vice versa.
Let's not have a derail into DSDs. We have covered this topic often enough, and it's not kind to appropriate their experience to try to justify someone's ideology.
