Should breast implants for males be made illegal?

Having learned more about the sexual desires of males, AGP in particular. I now think that as women we have to push back and stop this madness. We live in a world where females are vulnerable to sexual assault by males-we are literally hunted by them. Combined with the safeguarding of children aspect....all parents I know explain to young children that if you get lost, look for a lady to help you, preferably another Mummy....I know men can wear a padded bra to achieve the look, but still the thought of males getting sexual pleasure by having fake boobs & their male tackle-just seems wrong. Am I alone in thinking this? Looking at society as a whole, I can't see any benefit to women and children of men being allowed to get silicone breast implants.....

It is interesting to spot which types of threads are targetted by posters trying to provoke reactions to get the threads deleted. Reckon there's a whole PhD (well, maybe just a third year undergrad dissertation) to be had on the phenomenon.

The frenzied disingenuous spit-balling is making me laugh, but I agree the specific types of thread which are given this treatment is very telling.

How much time do you spend thinking about men who have implants to become trans?

Much less time then the men themselves do, I imagine 😘

Also, a man is never going to be allowed to get implants on the NHS! So how exactly could it be made illegal? Even if it was made illegal through private companies in the UK, if someone’s that desperate to get a pair of boobs, they’ll go abroad and get them. I’d be interested to hear how you’d police this if, in some parallel universe it was illegal… “Excuse me Sir, I just need to take a look under your shirt to make sure these are man boobs caused by your obesity, rather than implants” 🤣🤣

It could in theory be made illegal in the same way puberty blockers for gender incongruence outside a clinical trial and amputating people's legs without medical need is illegal. You don't permit medical practitioners in this country to do it if you deem it too harmful to the patient.

Or to some extent society I think. The individual might be very happy being disabled, but why should we be paying for NHS care in relation to any consequent health issues, or disability benefits for a self-inflicted injury? You can't refuse care either I don't think, we don't leave people without medical care who need it, but at least we can try to prevent it happening in the first place and hope other countries will do the same.

I can't see how giving men breast implants would meet that standard of harm, much as I dislike cosmetic surgeries for anything other than reconstruction after injury. I could see genital surgeries in the name of gender one day being deemed to meet the threshold of too much harm to the patient.

Haha shouting DISCUSSION doesn’t make it any better. “Someone won’t do what I want so I’ll keep pestering and then shout”. Very male behaviour.

no means no in any circumstance.

If you consistently refuse to engage other than to say the same things over and over again with occasional added personal insult, what on earth do you expect? Capitulation because people become utterly bored with your bullshitting and wander off, possibly with the words "yes dear, no dear, three bags full dear, whatever you say dear", to watch some paint drying? You are unlikely to get that; pointing and laughing at you is more probable, really, and also more deserved.

A long time ago now I saw "no debate" being used as a battlecry and immediately worked out (all on my own) that the person saying it had nothing that would be worth hearing to add to any debate. The only reason not to be prepared to debate is because of inability to produce anything worth looking at with any care or attention. "My way or the highway", like "anyone who isn't with us is against us", is a contemptible position to adopt.

Discussion is much the same as debate. If you are not qualified to take part in it, please don't try to pretend that you are choosing not to; that's like a cat trying to cover up on lino, doomed to failure

If someone has anorexia, we don't affirm their delusion-we help them get better. We recognise they are suffering and need therapy to get better.
Why, when a man claims he's a woman and needs breasts why do Drs agree?
I just cannot see the benefit and imagine it causes more confusion for that individual to look in the mirror and see male genitals down below, female up top....I honestly don't see it as helping them.

Lol you can’t compare having anorexia- I life-threatening disease, with a bloke wanting breast implants 🤣 one has a high fatality rate - we treat anorexics because there’s a high likelihood they’ll die without treatment. There’s no remotely comparable medical risk to a man getting breast implants

I think it's exceedingly clear what a woman is.

One who was born a woman or one who has transitioned to being a woman. Both are women. Not exactly the same, no, but both women nonetheless.

Trans women are who they say they are.

Is anyone who says they're a transwomen a women with no other conditions or do you think they need to use hormones or have genital surgery?

See… this isn’t a space for open and meaningful discussion… you’re trying to goad, provoke, demean, make assumptions about my beliefs.

bye! Wishing you peace :)

Oh come OFF it.

You are the one bleating that nonsense.

Make 1 constructive suggestion.

You can't because you refuse to listen to us and actually read and inwardly digest what we say.

I'll try again: 3rd spaces. M for men. W for women and U(nisex) for everyone who doesn't want/need to segregate by sex.

We have been asking for that on here FOR YEARS

SockPlant · Yesterday 16:56

Pls say this bit to Kate as she won't listen to us:

Oh, please. I heard racists and homophobes use that argument last century, we all did.

TIM is a slur. It's used to demean trans women. The abbreviation 'tw' is there, but few on here use it, preferring the slur.

Calling people - individuals - an "ideology" is also a slur. It's used to dehumanise trans people and to construct conspiracy theories about them.

Objecting to trans people - and their families - reacting to those slurs is transphobic too.

You don't get to tell minorities which words are hate speech, and using that hate speech is a choice.

It looks like everything I say is a slur! Or 'hate speech'. Or 'transphobic'.
Including - this one is a real humdinger - 'ideology'.

No matter how much research, thought, life experience, reading, analysis, listening, discussion, discovery I have done, anything I say gets shoved into a box marked SLURS by TransParentlyAnnoyed. Alongside boxes marked RACISM and HOMOPHOBIA.

I'd better shut up then, hadn't I, or I'll set you off again, by using some other piece of standard English which you'll re-purpose as a slur.

You can't transition to be a woman, women never ever transition to be women. Only men can transition to be a transwoman, that's how transwomen are 'not exactly the same' - it's because they're biological men.

If transwomen say they are transwomen then yes, they are who they say they are. A transwoman is not a type of woman, there aren't different types of women, either you are one or you're not. A transwoman is a man who wants to be a woman - and that's as close to being a woman as they can get.

Why are transwomen so keen to be objectified and compared to an inanimate object that's only job is to sit and look pretty? I guess they think women are really just dolls, their only job to look pretty and be a plaything for men. It's just really grim IMO.

Trans women are men. Otherwise, what does the “trans” stand for?

But there's not enough space for four different loo-spaces in many places. It's just not practical. The disabled loos are usually empty anyway. Why can't the third space be for disabled and Unisex?

NameChangeMay2026 · Yesterday 19:33

I don't see what the issue is with sharing loos with trans women. Most of you probably have done so and have no idea.

SockPlant · Yesterday 19:33

nope. @NameChangeMay2026

Those spaces were hard fought for, harder than women fought for our spaces i think.
They are sacrosanct.

Because those men also want to be in womens prisons, womens refuges, womens rape therapy groups, womens changing rooms etc etc

And I don't want men in the womens toilets
