That is if The Human Paperweight that is Philipson can make her mind up. What should we expect?

So if it's second to last on the order paper, could the trans allies filibuster by droning on and on earlier in the proceedings?

Is there a time limit on the day's business? Or does the House have to sit until all 16 items are dealt with?

Indeed - for example you will ever see them abd indeed many media outlets holding up hunter schafer as an example of beauty, hanging on about how could you deny this was a woman. However it's all to fucking obvious he's a man -x.com/vibeink01/status/2057054373876805916?s=46

That clip is so very disturbing in so many ways.

And it is clear when you observe the way he moves that he is male. I don’t think those male people such as Wu who make comments about how puberty blockers mean that male people will pass quite understand that those male people
we see now who have been on that treatment are still observably male.

I struggle to put into words how offended I am by people making little pink triangles to wear, just because they can't go in the ladies loo

https://www.reddit.com/r/transgenderUK/comments/1tj0add/small_acts_of_defiance_of_the_ehrc_likely/

it's grossly, grossly offensive

As inaccurate, offensive plundering of terms from the Nazi era to describe current events goes, this is breathtakingly inappropriate.
Shame on them.

Pandering to this is so dangerous for society. As illustrated by @Kinsters post highlighting a threat to BP upthread. Whilst I think she's useless at her job, no-one should be subject to such threats for following basic law.

Thinking all these things (e.g. that having to use public toilets that are clearly labelled mixed sex or in line with the reality of your sex is oppression) is delusional mental illness, and a type of delusional mental illness that if indulged places others at risk. The sooner this is recognised the better.

Not only that, far from being 'kind' it's actually very unkind to these men themselves (and the very occasional woman). It's grooming them into abusive behaviours 'give me this or else' 'if this minor inconvenience happens it's literal genocide which violence is a legitimate response to'. It's legitimising extreme violence for the mildest of things not going entirely their way. It's pretending reality doesn't exist. That doesn't work for most people.

The consequences for women are of course worse - as for the TIF who ended up raped within an hour of being 'affirmed' by being put on a male psychiatric ward. An obviously predictable consequence of the truth and reality of the situation.

Pandering to these delusions and demands is EASY not kind. And of course now it's backfiring.

I do think we need to keep threatening legal action and pushing insurance companies to be clear insurance will not cover any losses for organisations that ignore the law. Because unfortunately now the whole of society except for a few islands of sanity (such as FWR) has pretended the Emperor isn't stark bollock naked for fucking years they've made the situation worse.

THIS. as soon as the guidance drops we need mass letter writing campaign to councils, unis, hospitals, retail, insuerers and so on.

Do Freedom of information requests.

Talk about legal action.

Unless we threaten their bank accounts and status admin will slow walk supporting single sex spaces.

It is depressingly true. I know, for example, that policies in HE normally take a full academic cycle to be approved by the governing body.

But, we will get there in the end.

Just on the academic front - we also need to see changes to incorrect course content. I am currently doing a healthcare post grad, and it is beyond frustrating that every slide that should be about sex and biological differences, talks about gender. It is so deeply embedded everywhere and
will take years to correct.

CoverIt · 21/05/2026 09:28

One of the Reddit comments says something about the guidance not being legally binding - surely it is, as it’s clarifying the actual law which is by definition, legal?

Yes, you can use the template from the KnottyAuty audit to challenge NHS Trusts. Easy to use and all Trusts need letters, not one is legally compliant as far as we can tell https://seeninhealth.org/nhs-foi-map/

They come out with a lot of poorly understood or uninformed guff on there. They called the original interim guidance a “transphobic wish list” 😂

Just quoting as it's something I've been wanting to know as well. Will it lay in a dusty cupboard until someone remembers it's there?

I told my husband about this. Normally he isn't really bothered when I have a rant but this made his jaw drop. He was horrified.

Just to add that Thursday's normal hours are 9.30am - 5.30pm.

Anyone got a Parliament staffer on speed dial to ask?

I am not showing off but I have been doing this for 18 months and it has taken a lot out of me but it is 100% having an actual affect on the ground.

People need to FOI their local orgs, then put in complaints and challenges and FORCE policy changes, we have to pull together in every level of the UK to make these changes

Have done. And am. Have sent follow up emails to relevant orgs this morning already.

Prestissimo · 21/05/2026 10:02

Haven’t RTFT but would love to see any single one of the MSM heading this as ‘single-sex spaces and services safeguarded s as per the EA’ as opposed to the ‘poor sad menz excluded and inconvenienced’ that we are so used to.

Does anyone have a link for the running order, I cannot find it on the website.

GargoylesofBeelzebub · 21/05/2026 10:05

Can someone explain to me what happens now? It has to sit with parliament for 40 days? Can it be challenged in any way? Does it have to go to the Lords?

Lords not required, in fact in 40 days - thats it it exists.

UNLESS MPs manage to get a prayer motion together, and get it heard, and win it. THEN they can have a debate and vote to send it back.

Has happened once since ww2, I expect them to try, I do not expect it to happen. Labour wants this to go away not drag on.

I haven't checked trans Reddit yet - they tend to react later, guessing a combo of NEETs not needing to be up early and only getting their news via social media so other people need to read it and react first - but I'm predicting the Oppression Bingo card will contain:
*Comparisons to segregation
*Pink triangles and Nazis (already ticked)
*Genital inspections
*'Cis' women will be affected most
*Carry on regardless
*... But intersex
*Sex isn't binary
*Terfs are a loud minority
*Right Wing American Shadowy Funding [note: hurry up with mine, I've been terfing for free for years]
*I'll be attacked in the men's
*Victoria McCloud/Foxbotherer/Robin Moira White says it's rubbish so it must be illegal
*Lemkin Institute genocide warning

Predicting I'll clock the lot in the first thread. What've I missed?

You've missed, "What about butch lesbians getting thrown out of the ladies'?"
