Views on this board being deliberately miscued

Everyone knows that the majority view here is due to concerns about the erasure of female single sex spaces and words, children being caught up in an ideology when they aren’t old enough to consent (possibly leading to harmful hormones and/or surgery), female sports and awards being infiltrated/given by/to men, trans widows having their lives turned upside down and not supported but expected to support the stunning and brave husband etc etc. However, arguing against these concerns is not a good look so it’s much easier to shout “hatred” and “transphobia”.
Its so fucking tedious.

Also it is so obviously about hoping for a gotcha moment it amazes me that any bothers to respond.

Not just the silliness of pretending it is real engagement but because it is so obviously to tie everyone up on a thread that has no other purpose than to be a cul de sac.

Also true of overt intervention of existing threads.

It is pointless writing a response thinking you are going to say anything that will make them change your mind, and apart from impressing each other, the false participent just goes away laughing at all the time and effort they have taken up.

Given how almost every of those members here intentionally misgenders, refuses to accept pronouns and often even names, please press that doubt button for me on this post.

But of course this forum spent so much eating its own reassurances that harassment and transphobia is the "rational norm" and cannot be challenged under any circumstances, as that's just "ridiculous" and "against your truth".

Surely given how few places online or off that women can discuss this issue without endlessly defending it, that the priority it using it to expand and secure what has been achieved so far. Not being dragged back to point zero.

To respond as thought we have to implies we have no confidence.

And after all there are example of TW who have come on this board and had a fairly rational and polite and informative exchange.

Surely we have got past the point of feeding we have to apologise or explain why it is impossible to change sex. This is a statement of fact (which is now legally stated to be a "valid belied").

The only other purpose in responding is to virtue signal too each other that we think we have come up with the ultimate response!

In which case why not start a FWR where we each post the single statement we have every made or written that shows saying you cant change sex is nothing more that a statement of fact?!!!

I dont mind the troll threads, they get a lot more posters than the specific threads. I think it’s always useful for people to see the nonsense points that get made, and a clear response, and it’s where a lot of people feel able to comment, even if they aren’t regular posters. The specific topic boards, especially the legal ones or the scientific paper ones are very niche and difficult to contribute to.
