I'm always amused that it's us who are being called obsessed when it's the Scottish government that spends shitloads of money, time and effort to push through self-ID and everything that comes with it.

I've met Joanna Cherry and like I said, she's astute and happy to answer questions and quite witty too. Apparently she's known our current First Minister for a while, when they were both young and suspects he doesn't really believe all this but keeps pushing it as he's surrounded by those that do (and I'm assuming wants to keep with the crowd). I feel that makes him even more of a spineless coward tbh.

I’m definitely interested in what Joanna Cherry has to say but it won’t make a difference to how I vote in May because whatever horrors went on behind the scenes, and I am sure there were many, there are enough horrors going on in public to make me never vote for the SNP ever. I would love to be voting for a party I support and could have a chance to get in but most people don’t have that choice in Scotland.

I'm originally from Scotland, but haven't lived there for a long time. I am, however, really looking forward to reading what Joanna Cherry has to say. The more someone says 'no one's interested', the more interested I get.

Someone should tell my Conservative MSP. He sent out a leaflet and his basic argument was, “Vote for me as I’m your only chance of keeping the SNP out in this constituency.”

Joanna Cherry’s timing with this couldn’t be better. If she’s written anything scandalous, it has a good chance of making headline news, because of the election.

She’s a smart woman. If this goes well for her, she will both have her revenge on those who ended her political career and sell a lot of books off the back of the publicity.

My intention will be to ignore those who try to sidetrack the thread.

I’ll be interested to hear what Cherry has to say about the shenanigans involved in the Edinburgh branch of the SNP and the attempt to stifle those who didn’t follow the party line.

Given the title, that might not be the book’s main concern.
