As my friend states in the video, she does not use women's toilets; she uses disabled toilets because she's disabled. I have never seen a transwoman (at least not one that doesn't pass!) in a women's toilet. I also suspect it is still far more common for women to be assaulted by men that identify as men. Additionally, transwomen on estrogen (I imagine most transwomen) will likely find it difficult-impossible to get and maintain an erection because it blocks or cancels out testosterone so is effectively chemical castration.

But where would he go if he were not disabled? Just because he isn't using women's loos doesn't mean other big burly, possibly weird and predatory men in dresses are not. There is a man in my town who obviously has some mental disability or mental illness, who walks around all day with a variety of different dresses over the top of his otherwise completely male clothing. His hair is long but no make-up, no heels. He doesn't pass in any way whatsoever and it doesn't seem that he even tried to. He's a BIG man and clearly mentally unstable to some degree or other. He is very strange and quite intimidating looking, always has a very intense scowl on his face. If you'd found out he was a flasher or a high school shooter you'd say 'yeah, that figures.' Possibly harmless, possibly not, but there is absolutely no way any woman would feel comfortable meeting him head on in a ladies' bathroom, or anywhere when she was alone.

Just because you know a trans identified person you believe is harmless does absolutely nothing to prove that they all are. And we know very well that some of them ARE a danger to women. We know it. It's not hunch, it's a proveable fact.

What you are doing is the same as saying it's perfectly okay to ignore signs on entering fields full of baby lambs, or beaches full of basking seals, saying 'please keep your dogs on a lead'. Your logic is that because no lambs or seals are going to be have their throats ripped out by a bichon frise, it's okay to let breeds with high prey drives or strong hunting or fighting instincts loose, because they are 'just dogs who mean no harm and can't do any real damage' too.

The sooner people like your friend realise that women wanting to protect themselves, their daughters and other women isn't some baseless or bigoted personal vendetta against them personally, the better for all of us it will be.

Your posts about your friend are irrelevant, women don't want men in their spaces, we don't have to explain it, we don't have to justify it, the fact that we don't want it is enough. You're friend is a man, he needs to stay out of women's spaces.

He doesn’t say here that he already uses the disabled loos, he mentions the disabled loos as a sort of gotcha (and a petulant one at that). He is spending the video justifying reasons why men should use women’s toilets. It’s strange that he didn’t say that he doesn’t uses women’s loos as that at the vore of this conversation. perhaps he has reflected since and now used disabled loos.

This video does not in any way shape or form reflect the version that you claimed in your first post in this thread.

This is a vulnerable man who is not served well by those affirming and validating his self perception. I imagine that he struggled to fit in with his peers at school etc and he has probably grasped onto a trans identity to explain to himself why he didn’t fit in. The disabled toilets I know about are not shared spaces? Why is your friend using a disabled loo, he's not disabled, now he seems to be invading 2 spaces, how much more does he get to do before he's in the wrong as far as you're concerned. He's a man, there are spaces provided for men to use, he should be using them.

Having watched that conversation between KJK and the extremely large and masculine "friend", who didn't appear even to be attempting to look like a woman, he came across like all the others in one key respect: it had clearly not even occurred to him to think about the affect of his behaviour on women. He had only thought about himself, and couldn't even understand the suggestion that he should consider other people. And it's clear that he has been using women's toilets. He says "I will use the disabled toilet" in the future tense.

They absolutely are afforded the luxury of not having to use a toilet in a room with someone of the opposite sex at the same time, that's exceptionally disingenuous.

My lovely friend cannot use mixed sex spaces because of trauma. How lovely the man in the women's loos may be, how well intentioned, how attractive and how he feels inside makes no difference, because naturally her life and body reactions aren't predicated on what happens between the ears of a man. If a man is busy expressing his inner self in there and using the women in the room to do it, she has to do without any resources at all.

Men need to get out of women's spaces. How they identify is irrelevant, in the same way as 'I don't have a mars bar' is irrelevant as an excuse to mugging someone in the street for theirs. It's pure bullying and misogyny, there is no excuse. No wiggle room. No some and not others. No Not My Nigel. Men must sort out their own solutions.

And to prove the point I was just making in my last post, i've just come across this story:

Now whether he has conveniently started identifying as a woman in the hope of keeping himself from getting a god almighty battering in a men's prison, or whether identifying as a woman is just one strand of his many kinks and predilictions, who can know? But what we do know is that he is a trans identified man we clearly can't afford to have in women's spaces because he is a dangerous sexual predator.

A least he's going to a men's prison, the fact that they even letting a convicted child rapist declaring himself a women is fucking outrageous.

I'm not the person in the video! But my friend should never have been approached, interrogated, and filmed for YouTube (presumably without consent). It's not as if she was there protesting against the tribunal, she was approached by the people filming.
