Mass Shooting in Tumbler Ridge Canada

Looks like it was a man in a dress. Another tragedy. More lives lost. Boys with violent tendencies cannot be told they are actually girls. The violent background of trans activism is a problem.

BREAKING

The identity of the Tumbler Ridge shooter can now be confirmed as Jesse “Jess” Strang.

Strang is a biological male who started to “identify” as a "girl" around 2023.

Strang was raised in a family that valued hunting, and began learning how to shoot rifles when he was just a child. Many guns were kept in the family's residence.

Facebook posts from his mother indicate he may have struggled with behavioral issues, including violent tendencies, from a very young age.

Strang fatally shot 10 people prior to taking his own life.

In 2021, Strang launched a YouTube channel that was promoted by his mother on her Facebook. The channel was dedicated to "hunting, self-reliance, guns" and his other interests. At some point, Strang deleted the content on the channel and changed his handle from "Jesse Boy" to "JessJessUwU." The only remaining post on the channel was made 6 months ago and reads "I've been pretty, um, aimless."

Messing around the with hormones of mentally ill adolescents is such a bad idea. Terrible situation.

weegielass · 11/02/2026 08:03

Its clear from the wording that its a transgender male. Accuracy matters. These are not our crimes.

fromorbit · 11/02/2026 08:04

The family have confirmed the identity of the killer,

EXCLUSIVE: Family confirms identity of trans Tumbler Ridge school shooter
The individual alleged to be the shooter in the deadly attack at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in British Columbia has been identified by a close family member as Jesse Strang.

The Canadian establishment is going to have to work overtime to cover this up.

And still newspapers are blaming it on a woman. I could tell from the reporting that it was going to be a man in a dress.

Ohcrap082024 · 11/02/2026 08:07

I’ve just seen the news on the BBC App. As soon as I saw the description of “a female in a dress” I knew it. Biological male, probably young, with mental health problems.

So now there will be lots of focus on he/she/they/them and not on the people HE has killed.

LizzieSiddal · 11/02/2026 08:09

Well the official warning for the community to lock down immediately, said the shooter was “female in a dress with brown hair”.
My first thought was, I bet it’s that special kind of “female”

FeralWoman · 11/02/2026 08:13

I thought it was highly unusual that a woman committed a mass shooting. I was waiting for the true story to come out. This confirms what I wondered.

gruit · 11/02/2026 08:15

as soon as I heard that a woman had shot dead ten people I thought this was a male crime.

HermioneWeasley · 11/02/2026 08:16

Likeothers as soon as I heard the description I guessed it was a TIM.

it is a crisis that being transgender is not treated as the mental health problem it undeniably is.

PersephoneParlormaid · 11/02/2026 08:17

In the last 10 minutes the BBC have repeated about a woman in a dress. Shame on them.

That inaccurate report could have cost lives

The immediate urgency though would be to tell the locals who to avoid. If the alleged shooter's classmates and community knew them as "female", warnings of a male shooter would have been inadequate.

It's a town the size of a large village. They probably all knew each other.

StoneColdAlibi · 11/02/2026 08:22

As soon as I heard, I knew. Maybe this will finally ‘peak’ some people, that’s the only good that could possibly come from such an awful attack

Would they have known him as "female"? Given that he was 17 and had only started "identifying as female" in 2023.

I don't know what would work better in those emergency first minutes. Say male shooter, and have their classmates assume it couldn't be Jesse? It's not about us, as distant readers of the news.

DeanElderberry · 11/02/2026 08:24

In a town the size of a large village people would know perfectly well that a boy child did not grow up to be female or a woman.

The false description (to protect the shooter's feelings? to protect the people pushing gender theory?) put everyone in Tumbler Ridge in increased danger.

Kilopascal · 11/02/2026 08:26

My experience of even UK teens is that they are very quick to leap into the idea that their transgender classmates are instantly the sex they say they are.

But it could be as simple as "report says dress, long hair, girl?, run"

Surely you'd just identify them by name if everyone knows everyone?

Telling everyone to avoid 'a female' would be pointless anyway as it was a man in a dress who needed to be avoided. If you are going to describe a person as "female" but have to include quote marks then everyone knows it means a man. Language matters.

senua · 11/02/2026 08:28

"female in a dress with brown hair"
It's such a strange description. They don't even mention the colour of the dress.

However the town is described as small and close-knit. Perhaps that coded description told them everything they needed to know.

they might leap into the idea, but they’ve got eyes, ears and senses so will instantly recognise a male when they encounter one.

Kilopascal · 11/02/2026 08:29

Who knows? In an emergency, people do what they can with the partial information they have.

Theeyeballsinthesky · 11/02/2026 08:29

ten ppl are shot dead by a man who only transitioned in 2023 and already there are ppl suggesting that no one in that village would have known that he was male

they could have said transwoman if they really couldn't bring themselves to say man

I mean fucking hell

Helleofabore · 11/02/2026 08:29

What a tragedy.

I hope everyone injured now recovers but the community must be reeling.

Every time it happens it does a big peakening. There have been a wave of "trans" male killers in last few years in the US. Sadly many more to come.

Given that he was 17 and had only started "identifying as female" in 2023? So for at least 14 years the locals and his classmates knew him as a male.

And Jesse is a male name, the name he had before he "identified as female", after which he called himself Jess.
