Competitive swimmers change in front of other female swimmers. Their swimming costumes take a long time to get into. I don’t believe that the US college system provided private provisions for any female swimmer to change in for their modesty.

Numerous female swimmers testified about how long their bodies were exposed to Thomas and the fact that Thomas had a fully working penis because Thomas changed in front of them. But maybe we should dismiss their testimony because they are the wrong sort of women.

I believe communal changing was expected in these competitive college events.

Do you have a link that states these other swimmers actually saw Thomas naked or that she 'waved her penis around'?

Saying womens sports means just for women
That allowing a man who ranked in the 600s into the women category where he ranked in the top 5 shows his advantage over women.
That forcing female athletes to change into swimsuits in the presence of male athletes is sexual harrasment. Changing into a racing swimming costume takes about 20 minutes and cannot be done under a towel.
That telling female athletes they needed therapy for objecting to male presence in the womens changing rooms when they were changing, is just wrong
That threatening to destroy any future career if they went to the press is just plain evil.

Gaines is not a bigot in protecting womens sports from cheats like Thomas and misguided illinformed people like you.

Secondly, many many women are uncomfortable stripping in front of strangers regardless of sex so if women's uncomfortableness is the standard then it should be applied consistently by providing changing cubicles.

The point you are spectacularly missing is Riley Gaines' anger is actually being mocked not her swimming record. At the end of the day 0.5% of the population aren't anything to write home about in terms of women's displacement in sport.

If RG gave a fig about unfairness in women's sport she would focus her attentions on the lion's share that facilitates it: Poverty. Wealth inequality is a main contributor to the inaccessibility of women's sport. The great irony of bourgeoisie 'white women' complaining about unfairness in sport particularly in elite schools is that if it weren't for poverty restricting women of colour, they would hardly rate let alone place fifth…

I'm getting a bit tired of everyone who is wrong on the trans debate - which still includes a lot of well meaning but ignorant liberals, especially in the US which is waaaay behind where the UK is now on this and almost every left wing person is pro trans ideology - being damned as a 'misogynist'. It's so black and white. AOC has done many good things. She is ignorant and wrong on this. RG has been great on this, and is wrong and ignorant on other things (abortion).

Many pushing trans ideology are misogynist of course, but there are still a lot of well meaning people who are unfortunately, thanks to the failings of the liberal media, totally unaware of the truth of this movement. I'd argue it is now damning for a politician in a European context to still be parroting this ideology, but the US is insanely polarised.

One day AOC will understand this was a medical scandal and that she got it wrong. She will and should feel bad about that. I think she is a good person.
