Has banned women and girls over the age of 12 from participating. Thoughts?

No one has mentioned the charity they are running for. Does anybody know?

And how do you know about this official banishment? Where is the proof that this is what is going on? And if possible I would welcome tangible proof.

It will take you two seconds to google their official website, where it states the criteria for who can run/walk in the Muslim Charity Run.
But if you insist on not being able to use the internet, here you go:

You think Muslim women have more rights but you don't know why women require single sex spaces?

Do you hear yourself?

I do know why who said I didn't know why?

TheywontletmehavethenameIwant · 12/10/2025 15:18

Hadmysay · 12/10/2025 15:14

😂 Most won't be killed.
Do you know how extremely rare it is for Muslim women to be killed for having struggles with her Islamic faith

What about the one's who are killed by Muslim men because the men are struggling with the Secular laws of the land that say they can't force women in the 'faith' to do anything.

ThatSpryShaker · 12/10/2025 08:21

Are Muslim women allowed to take part in running competitions generally?

According to whom?
The law? Or the men from that culture?

Onmytod24 · 12/10/2025 15:19

TheCrenchinglyMcQuaffenBrothers · 12/10/2025 15:06

You seem confused.

If you have adult males wearing clothing that deliberately exposes their genitalia to female children - it is the adult male that is the problem - and fucking dangerous frankly.

If you have adult males unable to control their sexual urges based on the length of a female child’s skirt - it is the adult male that is the problem - and fucking dangerous frankly.

ETA - and anyone who pretends to not understand that is also fucking dangerous, to women and girls.

Edited

Have you ever seen (some) teenage girls operating when there’s a young young male teacher?

women priests in the Catholic Church anybody?

Edited

Also The Society in the Church of England.

So it's still a minority of Muslims from one specific ethnic group
Got it.
I do think it's not a good look for these pakistani men to have done what they done and if it was the other way around all hell would break loose, but then again it would never be the other way around and that's a whole other topic in itself.

Wait? What??? You don’t think the organised repeated rape and trafficking of young girls is a “good look” how about a disgusting deplorable crime that makes right thinking people sick to their stomach? “Not a good look” fuck me!!!!!!

You do realise that this is the FWR board? Did you also stumble in here unwittingly? How many women of the FWR board do you think are going to be ok with the misogyny of the Catholic Church?
Have you got any other stunning gotchas?

There is a difference between a single sex event and one that “bans” women. And yes, I know that children are running too but that still does not necessarily mean that women are banned. I personally would need more information than has currently been given before I pass judgement. I would also like to know what charity they are running for as that might be enlightening.

This is why we need better integration. This is the UK where, apparently, woman have rights.

Fucking disgusting. If I lived nearby I jog along with them.

What about the daughters killed in 'honour killings' because they refuse to marry in an arranged marriage?

ThatCyanCat · 12/10/2025 15:22

Hadmysay · 12/10/2025 15:15

I do trust me I do.
But tell me.
I want you to give me the reasons out loud.

I don't trust you at all, except to be very very unintentionally revealing. The fact that you think it would somehow reflect badly on a woman to explain why she needs single sex spaces is possibly the creepiest thing you've said yet.

“Girls operating”

Are you saying these girls deserve to be raped? Or have I read this wrong. I hope I’ve read it wrong.

A beacon of community cohesion.

London council of Tower Hamlets omits anti-Semitism from list of hate crimes

'An inspection report last year found that a lack of trust and a lack of respect between political parties meant the executive at Tower Hamlets remained unchallenged. It concluded the council's decision-making was "dominated by an inner circle" around the mayor, Lutfur Rahman, who leads the Aspire party.'

'Tower Hamlets council removed St. George's flags from lampposts due to a policy against attaching unauthorized items to council infrastructure, citing safety concerns and routine maintenance. The council has a policy of applying this removal policy consistently to all flags, regardless of origin. This action led to controversy and criticism, as some residents perceived it as a double standard, particularly when contrasted with other flags like Palestinian ones, which had been visible for longer periods,,,,'

Oh, ffs. There is a huge problem, isn't there?

There's loads of events for Muslim women.
They have the choice to go to them

How many welcome men to come and watch?

I meant the true facts about this run. So tell me…Have you been a member of this mosque? Do you know why this run takes place at this time of year? Do you know of other events they put on for their community? Have you spoken to the families? Are you friends with any of them? I am curious to know.

No. No she doesnt

Neemie · 12/10/2025 15:25

WeeGeeBored · 12/10/2025 15:15

I would not conflate the two events. I understand why you do but it doesn’t necessarily follow that they are the same.

I’m sure you wouldn’t. However, this is a charity sports event in a public park so people will find it very problematic.

Exactly-really not the place to be trying to use the Catholic Church as a counter argument! Although tbf, except to a very limited area men and women in the Catholic Church are treated equally and can pray together, and women can take part in charity events on the same basis as men. They don’t make 14 year olds stay at home incase adult men find them sexually attractive
