Inside the DHSC’s secret courtship of anti-trans lobby groups

It's all coming out in the wash.

https://tacc.org.uk/2025/10/03/inside-the-dhscs-secret-courtship-of-anti-trans-lobby-groups/

Trans rights in the UK are the worst in western Europe and behind progressive utopias such as Turkey and Romania*..and we're now seeing why. We would not allow the KKK to be 'key stakeholders' when it comes to the rights of black people, yet this government appears to think that it's appropriate to have unqualified anti-trans activists and trans-eliminationists involved when it comes to trans people and trans youth.

This is utterly shameful though not entirely surprising from a government that has pandered to the far right on many occasions.

I love Bee's posts. They do make me chortle. What a wazzock.

Not coming back, Bee?

@BeeSourianteAgain sadly I have to mark this 1/10. You have latched onto a headline without making any effort to read or analyse (critically or otherwise) the content. Very disappointed.

Glad to see my monthly subscription to Sex Matters being put to good use😍

I know, right 😂

Disappointed implies you expected better....

This is such a helpful thread, thanks for starting it OP. I didn’t realise you could donate to Sex Matters from as little as £5/month, I’m going to sign up for that.

NeonFish · 05/10/2025 00:13

So OP has well and truly proven that 'anti-trans' = pro-women.
And to be pro-trans = anti-women.

Just as well that the anti-women groups are failing and feminism is winning.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 05/10/2025 00:16

OP is full of bravado against the nasty women on several other threads tonight.

What rights do trans people in the UK not have that others of their sex do have?

We're trans people, we take measures to change sex, obviously.

Trans people in the UK have fewer rights than any other country in western Europe, it's pretty dire and as a result some trans people (including some of my friends =( ) have fled the UK

It's sad that the use of slurs and acceptance of obvious transphobia means that trans people don't get to participate in this forum

They are fully free to participate, but this part of MN is centred around women and girls.

And how exactly does one change their sex? Do you know what a person's sex is or where you might find it?

How will we sleep at night?

A women's board talking about women's equality not including, one second, checks notes... uh, men.

What a tragedy. * *

Please report any slurs and any transphobia to the mods. If the posts remain, that is a sign that the professionally trained moderation team don’t agree that what you have reported meets your personal criteria of being a ‘sour’ or of being ‘transphobic’.

Disagreeing that humans can change sex and that any male person should access female single sex provisions is not transphobic. Abusing the women who are discussing their collective needs can be considered an act of misogyny though.

What you mean, Bee, is that in some other countries trans people have been granted special rights. Here in the UK, they’re treated the same as everyone else, which seems a fairer way of doing things to me. When you’re used to privilege, the equality of others feels like oppression, but it really isn’t.

As for “trans people can’t participate in this forum”, how ridiculous. It’s a forum, anyone can, but what you mean is - what with it being a women’s rights forum - you hear things you don’t like. Sorry the world doesn’t revolve around you Hmm

It’s perfectly sensible if you don’t like the laws of the country where you reside to move somewhere else. Lots of people do that.

Again, what rights in the U.K. do you lack that are less than the rights that everyone else has?

and I don’t mean the rights that you were wrongly told you had, that you were gifted against the law and that you never should have had in the first place.

It’s really sad that the use of slurs towards rape survivors means that some people don’t get to participate fully in this forum and have to step away because of the nasty slurs posted against people like them wouldn’t you say @BeeSourianteAgain ?

just a pikachu moment indeed.

This is a parenting forum. How many trans people would you expect there to be? Rejecting your sex isn't particularly compatible with becoming a parent.

Since @BeeSourianteAgain derided trauma, @BeeSourianteAgain wasn’t too bothered about the participation on this forum of those that @BeeSourianteAgain derided as the intent was to humiliate them and drive them off.

Thankfully, or perhaps not, mnhq deleted the post.

Plugsocketrocket · 05/10/2025 07:50

The trans arguments again and again when pitched in the courtroom do not stand up to scrutiny because they are irrational, illogical and not grounded in facts so the only thing that the movement has had to fall back on is widespread emotional manipulation.

However the wholesale abuse of women who speak out rationally and logically, the widespread attempts at control and domination of other people who are in the population that the movement is callously envious of, the complete empathy deficit the movement shows towards people who are actually vulnerable not just those with a misplaced victim mentality and the wholesale attempts at emotional manipulation have lead to complete compassion fatigue for the whole movement.

TRAs have literally ruined the lives of trans people that previously were quietly living their lives in harmony with the wider population. They are an absolute disgrace @BeeSourianteAgain.

Go blame TRAs for what has happened to your movement.

You were asked repeatedly what rights trans don't have. That you can't answer, says everything.
