teenage girls and middle-aged men

I have read a few times here and elsewhere that the two groups with the highest rates of being trans or highest increase in transitioning are teenage girls and middle-aged men. I can only find data for teenage girls. Could someone please point me to data supporting the claim that middle-aged men are a group with high transitioning rates?

What @SionnachRuadh said.

I think, when you get posts like this, there isn’t really anywhere you can go with them. As OldCrone said, men can’t be women. People argue otherwise for a variety of reasons, but every single one of them, regardless of sex, belief, background, class, job, intellect is simply wrong. And no amount of silly memes, institutional capture, religious mantras or feverish social media posts change that fact.

OldCrone · 08/09/2025 10:15

What is your point?

The only point you seem to want to make is that men can be women.

They can't.

The end.

The incredible lengths to twist material reality to artificially fit their desperate need to have some male people considered female. Which is impossible, but they are going to try anything they can.

I mean dictionary definitions are meaningless considering this poster has already acknowledged that they understand this.

Helleofabore · 08/09/2025 10:36

And the dictionary definitions cannot be twisted to be inclusive of the ridiculous concept of males being ‘female’ except in certain conditions. Thereby the impossibility that any person can be simultaneously male and female.

Because that is what this pp is trying to force to be considered reality. That someone such as the swimmer Thomas can be legitimately described as female except for when he competes in swimming. That Bryson can be considered female except not now he is a convicted rapist and not even politicians feel the need to say that Bryson is a woman or anyone needs to use she /her .

Bit by bit reality is reasserting itself. And it is wonderful to see. Because every single day there is another bit crumbling away.

I mean, even in Graham Lineham’s case, Graham and his barrister could use male pronouns for someone supposedly female. so no, dictionary meanings aren’t the gotcha this poster thinks.

It is just more fuckwittery.

SnowflakeSmasher86 · 08/09/2025 10:41

TRAs spend years mangling language, silencing women, “no debate”ing, no-platforming, pushing the agenda and insisting that corporations change their language to obfuscate and manipulate meanings, doxxing and arresting people for wrongthink/speak.

Then come on here and show us “dictionary definitions” to try and prove that they were successful in shutting down women’s right to name ourselves and our lived experiences.

You couldn’t make it up. Unless you were George Orwell of course.

Helleofabore · 08/09/2025 10:52

It really is something to see the degree of manipulation of language that convince some people who are prone to believe impossibilities.

Sadly, what then happens is that while communication gets confused as such, the reality prevails. Hence we get the tracking poll results that show that when asked specifically and clearly about situations, the answers remain that the majority reject this forced manipulated language.

The extreme activists such as pp, can rail at the world all they like about the perceived injustice where their reality is rejected by the majority of world around them. They can twist whatever dictionary they wish to, in the end it will not make one shred of difference. Because material reality will abide and the constructed reality will disappear.

Woman and female are not new words.

Activists shoehorning their agenda into society by bullying and other means is not ‘new word usage’.

Your faith in the power of the dictionary is utterly misplaced.

Hth.

Bless you, you have absolutely nothing but still you keep on.

We can give you marks for persistence I guess.

Btw, I have no idea what your comment means. Do you?

Howseitgoin · 05/09/2025 16:35

Um no.

Read the research in full it shows middle aged women identifying as trans in the graphs.

https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/pdf/10.1080/26895269.2025.2503221

Why would any middle aged woman want to adopt a trans identity, when it would mean an obligatory male mid life crisis and either a motorbike and a cocaine habit, or transing back to being a woman, but more uncomfortably in a push-up bra and fishnets?

Women are generally too sensible for such nonsense.

It could mean an exciting new life as head of a crusading legal nonprofit that loses all its cases!

It's not transphobic to insist on having words for biological sex, and specifically for members of each biological sex, which do not include any members of the opposite sex no matter how sad that might make them feel.

@Howseitgoin
Prove your theory

How can you group female and male people using personality?

Your sample size is 100 persons
50 female
50 male

What traits are you going to use to break down the 100 persons it 2 groups?

Split the group up or your social usage theory fails. Its a proof that your theory fails to do what you claim it can.
