This is one of the things that annoys me about the pearl clutching of TRAs. No one is saying they don’t exist, or can’t exist, or shouldn’t exist. We are saying they are mistaken, or delusional. As @RunsWithDinosaurs says;
”….perceived is important here. Men who believe themselves to really be women are imagining that they think and feel as women do, but they <wouldn’t know> because they have never been and <can never be> a woman. A woman who believes herself to be a man, likewise.”
Yes, they exist, they are all living breathing people, with mental health issues. They do deserve dignity, support and therapy.
Montgomery, or what ever his name is, is speaking the truth, delivered like a sledgehammer, but none the less true. Is it constructive, maybe not, does it need saying, yes. Yes it does. Caitlin Jenner is a man. Hunter Schaefer is male, and so on. They may be cosmetically surgically altered, but they are not female, and probably just needed a load of mental health support to help them deal with their issues.
